Nothing Phone (1) spotted in founder Carl Pei’s hands in behind-the-scenes video: take a look

Though the video did not have much when it comes to the specifics of the Nothing Phone (1), and it focused primarily on the journey of the Nothing team so far, it was the very last moments in the video which caught everyone’s attention, as we could clearly see Carl Pei flaunting a smartphone, which looks like none other than the Nothing Phone (1). Let’s take a look.

Nothing Phone (1) real-life design officially teased

As seen in the images above, Carl Pei can clearly be seen using a White-coloured smartphone, the design of which, falls in line with what we have seen so far when it comes to the Nothing Phone (1). We can easily make out that the device Carl is using has a dual rear camera setup, which is vertically aligned and is placed in the top left corner of the device’s back.

Furthermore, the antenna linings and the different textures at the back of the device can be noticed as well. Nothing could have successfully dropped a lot of Easter eggs by not blurring the whiteboard at the background too much, but unfortunately enough, the only word that we could clearly recognise was “Distraction.”

Nothing Phone (1) launch, specifications (expected)

The Nothing Phone (1) is expected to feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ 90Hz OLED panel. Under the hood, the device is said to come powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which will be paired with at least 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. We can expect the Nothing Phone (1) to come in multiple memory variants. Coming to the software, the Nothing Phone (1) will boot Android 12-based Nothing OS out of the box. The device will likely sport a 50MP main camera with OIS support. Lastly, the Nothing Phone (1) is tipped to feature a 4,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

The Nothing Phone (1) official launch is slated for July 12th, after which the phone will exclusively be sold in India on Flipkart. The pre-booking details of the phone have already been leaked. The phones which will be sold in India will be manufactured locally, the company has already confirmed.
