Surprising amount of E. Hondas and Blankas, though
The brackets for CEO 2024 are finishing out but we have all the characters used in the top 64 for Street Fighter 6 to share with you right now.
Surprisingly enough and despite his being nerfed in a recent update, Blanka was the most represented character being used by six different players in the top 64 bracket, four of which made it into top 32. Continue on for all the details.
We expected Akuma to be one of the most popular characters in all of Street Fighter 6 following his release in late May, and he’s lived up to his name both online as well as in major tournaments.
The demonic fighter appeared no fewer than five times in the top 64 with world class players like BST|Daigo Umehara and Falcons|MenaRD using him.
In another somewhat surprising turn of events, the rarely-seen E. Honda made five appearances as well. Unfortunately, none of the five Honda users made it from the top 64 into the top 32.
Ken, one of the more commonly seen characters in most Street Fighter 6 tournaments thus far, saw almost zero representation in the top 32.
While he saw no main play, FLY|Punk did attempt to briefly use Ken against Falcons|DCQ in winners final as a backup, but that didn’t work out very well at all.
