The spiritual leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, has declared that no force can divide Nigeria, regardless of the scale of agitations or political schemes.
Speaking in Calabar during the Universal General Fellowship — a religious celebration attended by faithful, guests, and dignitaries — Obu proclaimed that Nigeria enjoys divine protection.
“Let all spirits, angels, and men know that God dwells in Nigeria,” he said.
“Nigeria is the beloved of God, and no spirit, angel, or man can divide this country. All those fanning the embers of disunity should note that now is the time God has chosen for His creations to work under His divine leadership.”

He urged those agitating for secession or rebellion to desist and instead support the government’s efforts to foster national unity and peace.
As part of the celebration, Obu announced plans for a Unity Procession in Abuja’s city centre.
He said the solemn march — featuring songs and prayers — would serve as a spiritual instrument to bind Nigeria together in love.
“This march should be taken very seriously as it will bring lasting solutions to areas of disunity facing the country today,” he stressed.
The spiritual leader also reminded the audience that all humans, regardless of race or nationality, share the same Creator.
“There is no more division among the children of God. All should live in peace, forgive, and love one another,” he said.
