Manchester United have now taken to their website to confirm the state of one of their current injuries.

The Red Devils are experiencing a spate of injuries at the moment, with key players like Lisandro Martinez, Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo ruled out for some time.

Martinez and Diallo are out for the rest of the season, with a torn ACL and damaged ankle ligaments respectively.

Alongside them, Mainoo has been ruled out for six weeks with a muscular injury, whilst Luke Shaw has extended his stay in the treatment room with yet another setback over recent weeks.

However, now United have confirmed the extent of the injury which has returned Dan Gore from his loan spell with Rotherham.

The 20-year-old joined the League One side in January, to build match experience with a senior side for the ret of the season.

Gore started well with an assist in his first game, however, this has now been his only appearance for Rotherham, suffering an injury in training.

Now, United have announced the midfielder has suffered a injury to a bone in his foot.

However, this isn’t the end for his time at Rotherham, with the United academy working closely with the League One side to support his return to the club to continue the rest of his loan.

As such, the injury doesn’t appear to be season-ending, with the youngster set to return to The Millers before the season is out.

  • Manchester United send scouts to watch £65m striker

Manchester United’s season has been nothing short of a disaster, with problems all across the pitch.

Following a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham, the club now sit 15th in the Premier League, despite having multiple chances to score.

The lack of firepower has been a glaring issue, with Rasmus Hojlund struggling badly this season at Old Trafford.

The Danish striker has failed to make any real impact as a natural number nine, leaving United without a reliable focal point.

Joshua Zirkzee has shown glimpses of improvement, but he is not a traditional striker capable of leading the line.

United spent heavily on Hojlund last summer, and they may now have to do the same again – but this time on a proven goalscorer.

Manchester United scouts pay visit to watch Victor Osimhen

That search has led them to Victor Osimhen.

TBR Football have revealed that United sent scouts to watch him in action on Monday.

The Napoli striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, delivered once again, scoring twice in a 2-0 win over Rizespor.

His brace took him to 19 goals in 24 appearances this season, reinforcing his status as one of Europe’s deadliest strikers.

It is well-known that Napoli are keen to finalise Osimhen’s departure this summer, with multiple clubs still interested.

Manchester United and Chelsea remain in the race, with both sides desperate for attacking reinforcements.

United’s scouts were among more than half a dozen clubs present at Monday’s match as they continue to track the 26-year-old.

Chelsea, who failed in an attempt to sign him last summer, are also keeping close tabs on his situation.

Victor Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli in December 2023, including a release clause of around £100 million.

That fee will drop to approximately £65 million in the summer, making him a more realistic target for interested clubs.

Many questioned his move to the Turkish Super Lig, but he has silenced any doubts with his outstanding form.

His performances have ensured he remains on the radar of Europe’s top sides, with a big transfer almost certain this summer.

Galatasaray are on course to win the Turkish title, and Osimhen has been a key factor in their success.

    United need a proven goalscorer.

Osimhen may well be the answer to that.

  • Manchester United set to earn millions due to Mason Greenwood

This time last year, Mason Greenwood was on loan at Getafe, trying to kickstart his career once more after a two-year suspension by Manchester United pending criminal investigation.

The 23-year-old hit the ground running with the Spanish side, grabbing ten goals and six goals in 36 games, winning the club’s Player of the Season award.

In the summer, this impressive return to the pitch saw Greenwood move to Marseille where he has continued thriving away from Old Trafford.

With 15 goals and four assists in 24 games, currently sitting as one of Ligue 1’s top goalscorers, helping Marseille hold second place in the league.

However, his continued run of form might just help United with their financial struggles.

Mason Greenwood to help with Manchester United’s financial pressures

Upon selling Greenwood for £26.6 million, United included a massive 50% sell-on clause.

Now With clubs like PSG and Barcelona looking to the former England international, United could be set for a massive return.

Talksport has reported the interest as well as highlighting his current worth as £60 million, meaning Amorim’s side could be set for a £16.5 million windfall from any sale.

The Red Devils are in desperate need for transfer funds, with further redundancies being made to direct funds to the transfer budget.

Already Aston Villa have an option to buy Marcus Rashford in the summer for £40 million, whilst Chelsea have an obligation to by Jadon Sancho for between £20 million and £25 million.

If these three sales take place, including a move for Greenwood, United could see around £80 million, helping the side secure some much needed strength in the squad.

  • Arsene Wenger highlights key problem at Manchester United for INEOS to overcome

Manchester United’s nightmare season continues, with the club now sitting 15th in the Premier League table after a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham.

The Red Devils dismissed Erik ten Hag earlier in the campaign and turned to Ruben Amorim.

However the Portuguese coach has quickly realised the extent of the issues at Old Trafford.

United made just one major signing in January, with Patrick Dorgu arriving from Lecce for £25m.

The left-back impressed against Spurs, but Amorim is under no illusions about the scale of the problems he has inherited.

With financial restrictions limiting the club’s ability to make big moves in the transfer market, Amorim has already warned fans that a “storm will come.”

Arsene Wenger highlights need for another rebuild

Arsene Wenger believes the situation at United will only get worse before it gets better.

The former Arsenal manager was speaking on beIN Sports when he outlined just how serious United’s problems have become.

“The fans are not happy because it is a team in 14th playing against a team in 15th,” Wenger said.

“You will not find many happy fans on both sides.

“Both teams cost over £1bn, so you would say both basically have the same problem – finding good players to rebuild their team.

“The whole team has to be rebuilt at Tottenham.

“And at Man United as well, and that won’t be easy.”

United’s recruitment has been a disaster over the past decade.

The reckless spending is now catching up with them.

The club’s financial restrictions under the Premier League’s PSR rules mean any major rebuild will depend on player sales.

Despite Wenger’s advice, Amorim has admitted that a full-scale rebuild simply isn’t possible.

“We spent a lot of money in the past, and now we have to be careful with the finances.

“So we cannot rebuild the team the way we would like,” Amorim said.

With limited funds available, Amorim has placed a greater focus on the club’s academy.

    Sunday’s matchday squad reflected that.

Seven academy players were named on the bench against Spurs, highlighting just how much United are relying on youth as they navigate this turbulent period.

While there is an exciting crop of youngsters emerging, they will need time before making the step up to the first team.

Signings will still be required for the short and long-term.

However, a year without Europe will no doubt inflict further pain onto the club’s finances in the long-term.

  • Manchester United squad latest injury updates provided

As is Manchester United’s season couldn’t get any worse, Ruben Amorim has an injury crisis on his hands.

The club are currently in 15th in the Premier League sitting only 12 points clear of the relegation zone with 29 points.

With 13 games left to play, United need at least 11 points to stay in the Premier League for next season, with the only chance of retaining European football looking to be with winning the FA Cup for the second season in a row.

The FA Cup was a lifeline for Erik ten Hag last season as the club finished 8th overall, however, Amorim’s side are 10 points behind current eighth-place Fulham.

However, as United face Everton next, with The Toffee in 14th with 30 points, a win could see United take at least 14th place, if not 12th depending on other results.

Unfortunately for Amorim, with the current state of injuries at the club, the Portuguese manager is without some key players for the rest of the season.

Ruben Amorim’s set of injuries at Manchester United

We are already are aware of Lisandro Martinez’s season-ending ACL tear during United’s 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace.

The Argentine midfielder has undergone surgery in London to repair the damage which has reportedly gone well, starting Martinez’s road to recovery.

However, The Daily Mail has also reported that Amad Diallo is now set to miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury he sustained in training.

Diallo has been thriving under Amorim, with his time in the treatment room now set to be a massive blow to the club.

The Ivory Coast international has damaged a ligament in training and is now set to undergo surgery to repair the issue.

Unfortunately, the injury list doesn’t end there with Kobbie Mainoo also ruled out for six weeks with a muscular injury.

The United academy graduate strained a calf muscle and is fighting to be back in action for United’s Round of 16 fight in the Europa League.

Thankfully injuries sustained by Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer last week aren’t deemed to be serious, with Christian Eriksen and Leny Yoro back in the squad to face Everton after recovering from illness.

  • Key target of Ruben Amorim agrees to join Manchester United

Ruben Amorim has just had a massive boost for next season as one of Manchester United’s key targets has green-lit his move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are in desperate need of reinforcements to boost the squad, specifically fitting into Amorim’s play style.

The current squad was vastly assembled under the reign of Erik ten Hag, with only Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven being signed for Ruben Amorim.

After £600 million was spent for Erik ten Hag’s United squad, Amorim has been left with limited transfer funds, having to rely on sales to generate enough for new signings.

However, this doesn’t mean that the United recruitment team aren’t working on identifying targets for Amorim’s system in the hope of some summer movement.

Now, one potential incoming star is already being lined up for the end of the season.

Geovany Quenda verbally agrees terms with Manchester United

Ben Jacobs has confirmed on Inside Red Devils that one of Amorim’s former stars is all set to join United.

Jacobs explains that Sporting Lisbon star Geovany Quenda has revealed he is “very keen on Manchester United”.

The 17-year-old is reportedly so keen on reuniting with his former manager and coaching team, that he’s verbally agreed term for a move to Old Trafford in the summer.

The clubs are currently still in talks however, with a disagreement over valuation. Whilst Sporting are wanting €50 million for their talented young winger, United are only valuing Quenda at €40 million.

With United already set to earn around £20 million from their sale of Jadon Sancho to Chelsea at the end of the season, and an option for Aston Villa to sign Marcus Rashford for £40 million, the funds could well be there to get the deal across the line.

However, the two clubs have time to agree on the fee, with the summer transfer window not opening for another few months.
