Manchester United are all set to take on rivals Manchester City this afternoon as the clubs face off in the final Manchester Derby of the year.
United managed to seal the win with a 2-1 result over The Citizens back in December, thanks to a truly impressive goal from Amad Diallo.
Now, The Red Devils are hoping to do the double to claim Manchester as Red for another season.
Ruben Amorim is set to be without Lisandro Martinez and Diallo who had a massive impact in their first match-up this season, as well as some of his other stars.
Matthijs de Ligt picked up a knock against Nottingham Forest, with it now known that he’s not in the line-up for today’s game as a result.
Jonny Evans, Ayden Heaven and Kobbie Mainoo are also still ruled out with injury, however are on the road to recovery so should be recovering soon.
However, Luke Shaw has officially returned to the match-day squad, sitting on the bench for his first game back.

Manchester United have reportedly made their first official offer for striker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian is currently on loan at Turkish club Galatasaray, where he has scored 28 goals.
His parent club, Napoli, are reportedly ready to part ways with the 26-year-old this summer, with several interested clubs circling.
Osimhen found his breakthrough in France with Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille, earning a transfer to Italian giants Napoli in 2020.
There, he went from strength to strength, and in the 2022/23 season, he won the Serie A Golden Boot by scoring 26 goals in a season in which Napoli clinched the title.
His following season was harmed by injuries, and despite still scoring 15 goals, Napoli made their intention to part ways with Osimhen clear.
No club would meet their asking price, though, and negotiations led to Osimhen signing on loan to Galatasaray.
The striker has enjoyed a productive season in Turkey, leading Galatasaray to a likely title and particularly starring in the Europa League, before Galatasaray’s exit at the hands of AZ Alkmaar.
Osimhen will now look to finally part from Napoli in the summer, and Manchester United are reportedly the latest club to make an offer for the striker’s services.
According to Turkish source Arda Ozkurt, Manchester United, as well as Arsenal, have made official offers for the forward, while Barcelona, Liverpool and PSG are closely monitoring the situation.
Should the Red Devils make the signing happen, Osimhen would add reliable goal-scoring to Ruben Amorim’s front-line, in a season in which Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have flattered to deceive.
”Arsenal ve Manchester United, Victor Osimhen için resmi tekliflerde bulunurken, Barcelona, Liverpool ve PSG oyuncunun durumunu yakından takip ediyor.
Eğer Osimhen kalmak isterse, Galatasaray Osimhen’in bonservisini alabilmek için fedakarlık yapmaya hazır.”
Manchester United’s academy has been a source of stars for the first team for many years.
Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, and Marcus Rashford are just some of the stand-outs to rise through the ranks at Old Trafford.
And the academy continues to provide first team players to this day, with Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho making an impact on the big stage in recent years.
There could be further to come as well, if the form of the academy teams is anything to go by.
Victor Musa, for example, has stood out at the youth level this season. The Spaniard scored six goals against Leeds United today for the U18s.
But another talent looks to have stolen the headlines from the match.
14-year-old JJ Gabriel made his debut for the U18s, coming on as a substitute and immediately making his presence known by scoring a brace.
His second goal was particularly impressive.
Receiving a lofted ball on the edge of the box, the teenager touched it down effortlessly, before rolling it past the oncoming defender.
With the goal in sight, Gabriel wrapped his foot around the ball and powered it towards the far corner and out of the goalkeeper’s reach.
He made headlines in March by penning a lucrative deal with Nike, and excitement is building about the youngster’s massive potential.
At just 14, Gabriel has a long way to go before he can be considered for Ruben Amorim’s first team, but should he continue to perform as he is, he could certainly have a part to play in future United squads.

The Manchester Derby is always one of the highlights of the season for United fans with pride and bragging rights on the line, as well as points.
Last season, Manchester City won both of the Premier League fixtures, whilst the pair faced off once more in the FA Cup final with Manchester United lifting the trophy victorious.
Goals from Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho saw The Red Devils reign victorious, securing the club a slot in the Europa League.
However, when the clubs reunited to face off in the Community Shield, City took the win through the dreaded penalty shoot-out, setting up the first win of the season.
When the two teams joined for their first outing of this Premier League season, United grabbed the win at the Etihad, with Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo stealing the win.
Now, The Citizens are travelling to Old Trafford this weekend, with United hoping to make it two for two this Premier League campaign.

Heading into the fixture, both sides are without five of their men due to injuries, whilst some of United’s previously injured stars are now back in training.
Ruben Amorim heads into this fixture without Amad Diallo who scored a sensational goal to win the game for United in the clubs last match up, with the winger having sustained an injury to his ankle.
Alongside him in the treatment room at Carrington is Lisandro Martinez who set up his winning goal with a tremendous cross pitch pass, with Martinez set to miss the rest of the season from a torn ACL.
The pair are joined by Jonny Evans, Luke Shaw and Ayden Heaven who are all in the later stages of recovery, however as such are not expected to make an appearance.
However, Kobbie Mainoo has returned from injury, re-joining training and as such could well feature on the bench for the fixture, ready to make his mark as a substitute.
It’s also expected that Matthijs de Ligt could be on the bench instead of starting after taking a knock to his ankle against Nottingham Forest earlier in the week.
In his place we could see a back three of Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire and Noussair Mazraoui starting, with Victor Lindelof being the only other defender fully fit so in contention.
Earlier in the week Amorim fielded Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte in the centre of the pitch, with the Brazilian having a strong outing, with Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes sitting just ahead of them.
I think it’s unlikely that Amorim will change this set up until Kobbie Mainoo is fighting fit again, however with Zirkzee once more failing to impress, he could well sit on the bench with Rasmus Hojlund returning to the starting line-up.
Finally rounding off the team are the easy bets of Andre Onana in goal, Patrick Dorgu on the left and Diogo Dalot on the right, which have only been changed since Dorgu’s arrival due to suspensions or injuries.

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been hit with a three-match ban.
The Fenerbahce manager saw red in the aftermath of his team’s loss to Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Cup, grabbing fellow manager Okan Buruk’s nose.
The incident came following an equally chaotic match, in which Mert Hakan Yandas, Kerem Demirbay, Bans Alper Yilmaz, and former United midfielder Fred were sent off in stoppage time.
Galatasaray went 2-0 up in the first half, with two goals from Victor Osimhen, before Sebastian Szymanski halved the deficit.
Fenerbahce could not find the all-important equaliser, though, and Galatasaray progressed.
This latest ban for Mourinho follows a four-match sanction he received in February after being accused of making racist comments, also against Galatasaray.
Fenerbahce released a statement after the game, accusing Buruk of planning the incident.
They said: “This was a planned provocation [by Buruk] and as part of this plan the individual acted as if he had been ‘shot’ and fell to the ground in a professional manner, and his disrespectful words and actions are documented on video”.
Mourinho was manager of Manchester United from 2016-2018, notably winning the Europa League in 2017.
After leaving the Red Devils, ‘the special one’ went on to manage Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma, before joining Fenerbahce in 2024.
Never shy about speaking his mind, Mourinho famously told the media in 2018, “I won more Premierships alone than the other 19 managers together, three for me and two for them.
“Respect man, respect!”
After a poor start to the 2018/19 season, including just seven wins out of a possible 17, Mourinho was fired by United in December 2018.

Manchester United target Viktor Gyokeres has reportedly said yes to a Premier League club’s proposal for a move this summer.
The Sweden international has been on fire since arriving in Lisbon in 2023, scoring a staggering 86 goals in just 92 appearances, with 43 of those coming this season.
And, naturally, Gyokeres’ performances have attracted the attention of several clubs.
One of those is United, with Ruben Amorim keen to add a top-class striker to his front line.
Despite signing Joshua Zirkzee for around £36.5m last summer and Rasmus Hojlund for around £64m in 2023, United have struggled for goals in attack.
With just six Premier League goals between them this season, it is clear that United need a more reliable goal-scorer and Gyokeres could be just that.
However, according to Correio da Manha, Gyokeres has already said yes to one Premier League club’s proposal, and it is not United’s.
The Portuguese source claim that Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta has presented the Swede with a project, to which Gyokeres has “already given a yes”.
It appears a financial package is still yet to be agreed, which could provide United with some hope to still be able to convince Gyokeres his future lies away from North London.
However, should United miss out on their top striker target, options do exist elsewhere.
Links to Victor Osimhen, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko have emerged in recent days, with all three providing good alternative options.
United will not give up on Gyokeres, though, and are still expected to throw their hat in the ring this summer, in what is likely to be a bid to persuade the Swede to lead a new project under Amorim.
Viktor Gyökeres (26) has 53 goal contributions in 42 games for Sporting this season…
Last season, he also got 58 goal contributions for the Portuguese club.
The wife of Manchester United star Andre Onana was robbed of a high-value handbag and a Rolex watch, according to MailOnline.
Liam Ross, a 25-year-old man from Bradford, has been charged with the robbery of Melanie Kamayou, which allegedly took place in the car park of an Italian restaurant in Alderley Edge.
The handbag, a Hermes Birkin, was reportedly worth £62,000.
Ross appeared before Chester Magistrates on Friday and will appear before Chester Crown Court in May, he is also charged with supplying cannabis.
Kamayou and Onana have been married since 2023, and moved to England together when Onana signed for United.
Onana has made 41 appearances for United this season, earning nine clean sheets in the process.
Since making the switch to Old Trafford in 2023 for a fee in the region of £47m, Onana has experienced ups and downs.
The Cameroon international has impressed at times with diving saves and impressive passes, but has suffered from a number of high-profile mistakes.
And links to the Saudi Pro League have emerged in the past months, suggesting United may cash in on the goalkeeper.
Manager Ruben Amorim has kept faith in the goalkeeper, though, and Onana is expected to continue as United’s number one.
Onana is expected to start tomorrow in the Manchester derby, as United aim to complete the league double over their bitter rivals.
Pep Guardiola’s team will arrive at Old Trafford in need of a win, with Chelsea’s win on Thursday seeing them drop to fifth in the Premier League, and Newcastle just one point behind.
Should United emerge victorious, they will have won both games against Manchester City for the first time since the 2019/20 season.
A win would also provide further encouragement before Thursday’s crucial first-leg clash against Lyon in the Europa League.

Manchester United U18s have today smashed Leeds United 13-1.
The match saw Jim Thwaites score a hattrick, JJ Gabriel score a brace on his debut, and Amir Ibragimovic register a trio of assists.
It was young centre-forward Victor Musa who stole the headlines, however.
The Spaniard scored an incredible six goals in the first half, the first five coming within just 25 minutes.
Musa’s first came from the penalty spot, the striker converting the rebound after his initial effort was saved.
And the second would come just five minutes later, and in impressive fashion.
Picking up the ball in the right channel, Musa held off and dribbled past two defenders before finding the bottom corner.
His third, in the 14th minute, completed his hattrick and was the easiest of the lot, tapping into an empty net after the goalkeeper had saved Samuel Lusale’s shot.
Musa’s fourth, a beautifully curled shot from the edge of the box, came in the 17th minute but his fifth was perhaps the pick of the bunch.
With the ball on the edge of the box, the striker took advantage of a deflection off the Leeds defender, lashing the ball into the top corner and giving the goalkeeper no chance.
Finally, Musa completed his scoring in the third minute of stoppage time in the first half, finishing calmly inside the box.
The six goals saw Manchester United nine goals ahead at half time, with goals from James Bailey, Dan Armer and Gabriel completing the 13-1 battering.
Musa will hope his monstrous display will have caught the attention of Ruben Amorim, with opportunities to play before the end of the season available.
IT’S NINE!
Double hattrick for Victor Musa who scores his sixth of the first-half.
A simply unbelievable 45 minutes of football at Carrington this morning.
