    Requirements

    We invite applications from experienced and exceptional Physical Sciences educators who meet the following the requirements:

    A suitable professional teaching qualification from a recognised institution and a minimum of 5 years relevant educational experience which includes teaching of Physical Sciences up to Grade 12
    Previous experience in an IEB school would be an advantage, as would experience in IEB Matric marking
    Willingness to embrace rapid changes in education and the ability to integrate IT into your teaching and learning
    Openness to engage in professional development opportunities, including access to local and international STEM training, research collaborations, and innovation in science education
    To play a role in developing curriculum, mentoring younger teachers, and participating enrichment initiatives
    Insight of curriculum knowledge and global trends in Physical Sciences, with particular respect to the decolonisation of the curriculum
    A proven record of excellence in teaching, assessment, and curriculum innovation
    A high level of organisational and administrative skills and commitment to team teaching in a busy department
    The ability to create and sustain relationships, and to mentor students in a boys’ school environment
    A passion for teaching and the proven ability to create a positive learning environment and to motivate and inspire learners to flourish as skilled and agile individuals
    A willingness to work within the values, Christian ethos and mission of the College as well as to participate in the broader life of the school, including extra murals
    Proof of registration with SACE supported by a sexual offender’s clearance certificate

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions through phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring the highest level of service. Additionally, you will be involved in telesales, reaching out to customers to promote products/services and drive sales.

    The candidate should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, have experience in customer service, and be comfortable handling telesales tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Support:

    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues with patience, empathy, and understanding.
    • Provide product/service information and troubleshooting guidance to customers.
    • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and issues.

    Telesales:

    • Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing customers, promoting products/services to generate sales leads.
    • Identify customer needs and offer suitable product solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

    Administrative and Reporting Duties:

    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
    • Generate and analyze reports on customer interactions, sales performance, and customer satisfaction to track progress and performance.
    • Collaborate with other departments (sales, operations, etc.) to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.

    Product Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
    • Continuously improve knowledge of industry trends and customer service best practices.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customer service, with a focus on phone and email communication and telesales.
    • Skills:

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
      • Ability to handle challenging customer situations with tact and professionalism.
      • Sales-oriented with the ability to effectively promote products and close sales.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
      • Proficient in using email platforms, and customer service tools.
      • Ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Other Requirements: Must be comfortable with a goal-oriented, target-driven environment.

    Working Conditions:

    • Full-time position with potential for weekend or evening shifts as needed.

    • The Business Development Manager (B2B) will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the company’s market presence in Nigeria’s oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. This role requires a strategic and results-driven professional with a strong understanding of the PPE and industrial footwear market, particularly in engaging both major and minor oil and gas servicing companies.
    • The BDM will focus on securing partnerships with key distributors, penetrating the market through channel distribution strategies, and ensuring our products are widely adopted by companies that traditionally rely on imported safety boots. This role requires significant networking, attending industry events, and cultivating relationships with key players in the sector. The ideal candidate must have strong industry contacts, be available for travel, and be willing to work on weekends when necessary.

    Key Responsibilities Market Expansion & Sales Salary

    • Identify, target, and acquire clients within the oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, and industrial sectors, including minor servicing companies purchasing below 200 pairs of safety footwear.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to approach companies in the PETAN list and sell directly to them.
    • Research and engage major oil and gas projects, particularly those where imported safety boots are being used, to enforce NCDMB local content policy and advocate for our locally manufactured PPE products.
    • Establish relationships with key distributors in the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors, ensuring they partner with us for offtakes and market distribution.
    • Lead business development efforts by sourcing, discovering, and analyzing major oil and gas projects where our company can supply safety footwear.

    Channel Distribution & Relationship Management

    • Serve as a Channel Distribution Manager, ensuring that our products are well-distributed across markets.
    • Develop and manage a network of distributors and partners to increase product penetration.
    • Ensure that our distributors successfully market and sell our products to their clients who traditionally purchase imported safety footwear.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders to drive repeat business.
    • Act as a liaison between our and major buyers, ensuring long-term contracts and strategic partnerships.
    • Manage key accounts and ensure strong client relationship management to drive customer retention.

    Industry Engagement & Networking

    • Attend industry events, trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking sessions to connect with potential clients and key players in the oil & gas and manufacturing industries.
    • Actively seek and participate in formal and casual events where relationship-building opportunities with key decision-makers are available.
    • Stay updated on trends in the industry and provide insights on new opportunities and market shifts.

    Revenue Growth & Sales Target Execution

    • Negotiate and close deals with minor and major oil and gas servicing companies, energy firms, and industrial manufacturers.
    • Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets set by the company.
    • Work closely with the finance team to structure competitive pricing models and payment terms for clients.
    • Develop detailed sales reports, market analyses, and projections to guide company sales strategies.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in PPE, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial equipment.
    • Strong industry network and ability to gain access to key players in target industries.
    • Proven track record in identifying and securing high-value business opportunities.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
