– Kaley Cuoco attempted to recreate a hairstyle tutorial from Instagram account @makeupface, but the final look turned out less than perfect.
– Kaley Cuoco has been recovering from a hand injury and has had to adjust her fitness routine to accommodate it.
– Other beauty trends circulating on social media include dotted makeup hack, “I’m Cold” flushed cheeks, glazed donut nails, DIY period face masks, vampire skin effect, foundation frothing, “W” blush technique, manga lashes, DIY bleached eyebrows, and skin cycling.
Here is what happened:
Actress Kaley Cuoco recently shared a funny hair tutorial on her Instagram account. Known for her love of trying out the latest beauty trends, Kaley attempted to recreate a fuss-free hairstyle from the @makeupface Instagram account during a girls’ night in with her makeup artist, Jamie Greenberg. Kaley admitted to being obsessed with hairstyle videos and wanting to recreate a few of them, but also jokingly acknowledged that it wasn’t as easy as it looked. Despite some lumps and bumps, both Kaley and Jamie agreed that hairstyling wasn’t their calling in life.
While Kaley may not have nailed the updo in her tutorial, it’s important to note that she has been recovering from a hand injury. Her trainer, Ryan Sorensen, revealed earlier this month that Kaley developed carpal tunnel syndrome, a condition commonly associated with pregnancy and nursing. Due to her injury, Kaley’s fitness routine had to be adjusted to focus more on lower body and core work. Despite the challenges, Kaley remained determined to find ways to stay active and fit.
Kaley Cuoco is not the only celebrity who has tried to tap into the latest beauty trends on social media. From TikTok’s dotted makeup hack to glazed donut nails and DIY period face masks, there have been numerous viral beauty hacks that people have attempted to replicate. While some trends may have been fun to experiment with, it’s always important to be cautious and do thorough research before trying something new, especially when it involves potential risks like bleaching eyebrows or using period blood on the skin.
One beauty trend that has proven to be beneficial is skin cycling, a four-night skincare schedule recommended by dermatologists. By incorporating exfoliation, retinoids, hydration, and barrier repair into a rotating routine, people can optimize their skincare products and see real changes in their skin. Unlike some other risky trends, skin cycling offers long-term benefits and is worth considering as part of a skincare routine.
In conclusion, Kaley Cuoco’s funny hair tutorial highlights the joy and challenges of trying out the latest beauty trends. While experimenting with different looks can be fun, it’s important to approach them with caution and consider potential risks. Additionally, trends like skin cycling offer a beneficial approach to skincare.
• Ruby Franke, former host of the 8 Passengers YouTube channel, is facing legal trouble for alleged child abuse.
• Franke and her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt were arrested on charges of aggravated child abuse after police discovered two malnourished children in their care.
• Four additional minor children were taken into the care of the Department of Child and Family Services, and Ruby’s estranged daughter expressed relief that justice is being served.
Here is what happened:
Ruby Franke, a popular YouTube personality known for her family vlogs on the now-deleted 8 Passengers channel, is currently facing charges of aggravated child abuse. Franke and her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, were arrested after authorities received reports of a starved child with evident signs of abuse. The child, described as malnourished with open wounds and duct tape on their extremities, was found seeking food and water. Another child in a nearby residence was discovered in a similar condition prompting law enforcement to search the location. Evidence consistent with the markings on the first child was allegedly found at Hildebrandt’s home, where both children were staying.
Due to the severity of their conditions, the children were immediately transported to a local hospital. The child’s name and age were not disclosed. Authorities also located four more minor children who were subsequently placed under the care of the Department of Child and Family Services. Ruby and Jodi’s representatives have not yet commented on the situation, and it remains unclear if they have legal representation. The popular influencer’s estranged daughter, Shari Franke, took to Instagram to express relief that justice was being served and urged privacy and prayers. She also requested any concerning content related to the 8 Passengers channel to be shared with her.
Ruby Franke’s parenting methods had previously drawn criticism from viewers. One video that circulated on social media showed her refusing to provide lunch for her 6-year-old daughter after she forgot to bring food to school. In the video, Ruby justified her decision, stating that her daughter should learn from the natural consequence of hunger. The incident raised concerns among viewers, which were further heightened following the recent child abuse charges.
As the investigation continues and the legal process unfolds, the case has shed light on the growing obsession with true crime stories. The popularity of true crime documentaries and the public’s fascination with these narratives is undeniable. However, it is crucial to remember the real-life victims and the significance of addressing the underlying issues, such as child abuse, that these stories often highlight. This case serves as a reminder that the truth behind these captivating narratives is often filled with tragedy and suffering, reinforcing the importance of protecting and advocating for the welfare of vulnerable individuals.

“We are devastated to announce the loss of Sir Michael Gambon. Beloved husband and father, Michael died peacefully in hospital with his wife Anne and son Fergus at his bedside, following a bout of pneumonia. Michael was 82. We ask that you respect our privacy at this painful time and thank you for your messages of support and love,” a statement on behalf of his wife, Lady Gambon, and son, Fergus, issued by publicist Clair Dobbs, said.
The Great Gambon, as he’s fondly called has been mourned by Harry Porter co-stars, including Daniel Radcliff who played Harry Porter, who said: “brilliant, effortless actor…loved his job but never seemed defined by it.”
Another, Emma Watson, thanked Sir Gambon for “showing us what it looks like to wear greatness lightly.”
Harry Porter writer, JK Rowling described Gambon as a “wonderful man” and “outstanding actor.”
Gambon has won several awards including BAFTA but he never had any qualifications.
Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore in Harry Porter Film Series
According to Wikipedia, Michael John Gambon was born in the Cabra suburb of Dublin on 19 October 1940. His mother, Mary (née Hoare), was a seamstress, while his father, Edward Gambon, was an engineering operative during World War II.
His father decided to seek work in the rebuilding of London, and moved the family to Mornington Crescent in London’s Camden borough when Gambon was six.
His father arranged for him to be made a British citizen, a decision that would later allow him to receive a substantive (rather than honorary) knighthood.
Brought up as a strict Catholic, he attended St. Aloysius Boys’ School in Somers Town and served at the altar. He then matriculated to St Aloysius’ College in Highgate, whose former pupils include actor Peter Sellers. He later moved to North End, Kent, where he attended Crayford Secondary School but left with no qualifications at the age of 15.
He then gained an apprenticeship as a toolmaker with Vickers-Armstrong. By the time he was 21, he was a qualified engineering technician. He kept the job for a further year, acquiring a lifelong passion for collecting antique guns, clocks, watches and classic cars.
At age 24, Gambon wrote a letter to Micheál Mac Liammóir, the Irish theatre impresario who ran Dublin’s Gate Theatre, accompanied by a CV describing a rich and wholly imaginary theatre career: he was taken on.
Gambon appeared in many productions of works by William Shakespeare such as Othello, Hamlet, Macbeth and Coriolanus. Gambon was nominated for thirteen Olivier Awards, winning three times for A Chorus of Disapproval (1985), A View from the Bridge (1987), and Man of the Moment (1990). In 1997, Gambon made his Broadway debut in David Hare’s Skylight, earning a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play nomination.
Gambon made his film debut in Othello (1965). His other notable films include The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989), The Wings of the Dove (1997), The Insider (1999), Gosford Park (2001), Amazing Grace (2006), The King’s Speech (2010), Quartet (2012), and Victoria & Abdul (2017). Gambon also appeared in the Wes Anderson films The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) and Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009). Gambon enhanced his stardom through his role of Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter film series from 2004 to 2011, replacing Richard Harris following his death in 2002.
For his work on television, he received four BAFTA Awards for The Singing Detective (1986), Wives and Daughters (1999), Longitude (2000), and Perfect Strangers (2001). He also received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Path to War (2002) and Emma (2009). Gambon’s other notable projects include Cranford (2007) and The Casual Vacancy (2015). In 2017, he received the Irish Film & Television Academy Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2020, he was listed at No. 27 on The Irish Times’ list of Ireland’s greatest film actors.
Brittany Renner just opened up about her sex life to Shannon Sharpe in a big way … revealing she’s slept with 35 men — a number that stunned the Pro Football Hall of Famer so much, he had to take a big swig of booze.
The “Basketball Wives” star made the remark while chatting with Sharpe on his “Club Shay Shay” podcast about Derek Jeter’s dating life.
Renner said to Sharpe her roster of partners was very comparable to the Yankees legend’s … and then she told the former Denver Broncos star her body count.
Sharpe then reacted as if he had seen a ghost … nearly spitting up his water — before shooting some booze.
“Oh, lord!” the ex-NFLer said. “Anybody else need a shot of this?! We are in a bar, so help yourself!”
Renner took the intimate conversation even further moments later … telling Sharpe she once caught a yeast infection after having sex with three men within 24 hours.
The deep convo didn’t just stop there, though … ’cause the two then dove into her relationship with her ex, NBA player P.J. Washington.
Renner explained she had been on birth control for a decade prior to getting with the Charlotte Hornets forward … but she decided to go off of it to have a child with Washington because she thought he “was my guy.”
“I thought I was doin’ it right,” she said.
Renner went on to say she’s cool with Washington despite their split … lauding his recent engagement to Alisah Chanel.
“I’ve sat down with his fiancée,” Renner said. “We’ve had a four-hour conversation out for brunch.”
“I think they’re a perfect match for each other, quite frankly.”
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner continue to duke it out in court over custody of their two young daughters — but that’s not stopping either from spending some quality time with their girls — as evidenced by Joe out in NYC.
Joe loaded 3-year-old Willa into a waiting SUV Wednesday in The Big Apple, we’re told the two were headed out to a birthday party, though it’s unclear who was celebrating. No sign of Joe and Sophie’s 1-year-old, Delphine, but it’s possible she was with Mom.
It’s the first time we’ve Joe out solo with either of the kids since Sophie sued him over custody. In her documents, Sophie claimed Joe was refusing to allow her to take the girls to the UK, despite a prior agreement, and he allegedly hid their passports.
Joe argued he was only doing what was ordered by a judge, and stated the kids could not be relocated in the middle of the divorce proceedings.
According to TMZ, the judge eventually ruled with Joe, stating neither parent could take Willa or Delphine out of the greater NYC area.
We were also the first to report Joe’s attorney’s claim Sophie wanted to move the divorce case to the United Kingdom … but that decision hasn’t yet been made.
Actor and comedian Pete Davidson is reportedly causing his “inner circle” to worry about him due to his recent behavior.
The 29-year-old comic has been open about his recent stint in rehab, revealing that it marks his seventh visit to rehab.
According to a report, a source expressed concerns that some of his friends have enabled his behavior, citing instances like openly discussing ketamine use post-rehab.
They questioned Davidson’s maturity in facing his issues and the potential consequences of not taking them seriously.
According to an unnamed source who spoke with The U.S. Sun, there are concerns about Pete Davidson and the company he keeps.
The insider explained: “His buddies, these friends he has around him, they are enabling him and they aren’t being honest with him.”
Providing an example, the insider continued, “He came out of rehab and he immediately started talking about how he had taken ketamine to treat his depression and these people who are always around him didn’t think that was a big deal. It wasn’t a big deal until of course it blew up and became a problem for his fresh out of rehab image.”
The source added, “If he doesn’t start taking his issues seriously, he could wind up killing himself from drugs.”
The insider continued, “At the end of the day, I feel bad for him. The drug situation is his own issue, and I don’t think he understands it all comes crashing down.”
“Look, he’s actually a good guy. He’s great with kids, he’s fun, but I just don’t think he lives in reality when it comes to the issues he’s dealing with,” the insider concluded.
Usher on Why He’s Excited To Perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show…
It’s happening. It has happened, ladies and gentlemen!! It’s been a lot like to keep secrets from my own kids at home. Yeah. A very, very close knit group of people knew and were really excited about the entire thing. Obviously a legacy. But more than anything the fact that this is the most grand stage to ever play on, man. Those 13 minutes mean everything. Been on my bucket list for a long time. I’ve been asked many a times “what are the benchmarks or what are the things that matter the most I guess to you?” It’s obviously performing, but being able to perform on stage because so many amazing performers throughout the years have have graced it and did an amazing job. So of course the obsession of that starts. But man, just the excitement in this moment like to really be able to savor this moment. You you remember the first time you ever heard your record play on the radio. You remember the first time you ever heard your voice, you know, on a on a format or radio, Right? This is like that for me. Yes, it’s one of those….I’m very, very happy…
Usher on Getting The Call From Jay-Z…
Zane: One of the big questions that everybody would want me to ask is what’s it like getting that call from Jay-Z?
Usher: Oh, man, I didn’t… Well, I mean, you know, me and the big home, we talk often. But when I got this call… he said, “it’s time, it’s magic time. You know, it’s time for you to have that moment.” I’m like, what are you talking about? He’s like “the Super Bowl.” I’m like, Oh, you ready? Absolutely. But no question. Yeah. And it was like this was destined to happen. I think that everything that led up to that moment, going to Las Vegas for my Vegas residency for the last two years. The legacy, obviously, that is the music, the celebration of entertainment in that place is the City of Lights. You know, it’s always been a place where, you know, entertainers go and find love and passion, connection to their fans. So for the Super Bowl to have made its way to Las Vegas while we were in Vegas, having such an amazing two years…
Usher on the Unmatched Legacy of the Super Bowl Halftime Show…
I mean, you think about all the people who have played it and just the idea of how Jay-Z and Roc Nation have really brought a mindfulness to our culture. You know, 30 years of a career deserves this kind of moment. But to have curators like them, like Jay-Z, like Des and like Roc Nation to come in and and manage to make certain that the entire world understands our culture, understands where we come from, understands the feeling and celebrates entertainment in the way that that they do. I mean, it’s just it just feels like it was, you know, I guess if you try to create a playbook in your mind, like 30 years after you start, you potentially play the Super Bowl. Some people wait an entire lifetime, you know what I’m saying? But I don’t feel like this is my lifetime. I feel like I’m only kind of starting to really, really get comfortable.
Usher on Growing Up Watching the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Joining That Legacy, and Why It Will Be a Moment To Remember…
Zane: You talked about, you know, the Super Bowl and and this new era that the Super Bowl is in of authenticity, of representation of excitement, of music, of energy. And I think about your first experience watching the Super Bowl Halftime show and what it was like as a kid and whether that was the beginning of a manifestation for you?
Usher: Yeah, I think being able to see performances from artists like Michael, you know, eventually Prince and then even, you know, more modern day artist and, and to be perfectly honest, to see artists that, you know, even started before, you know, started after I did get it, I was like, man, at some point I need to get a call with what’s going on now. But I’m really happy that I’m joining that short list of legacy artists from my genre who deserve this moment. And I’m really happy that Jay-Z and also to Roc Nation, you know, really put thought into making certain that they could bring to the world this kind of experience. It is definitely going to be a moment to remember.
Usher on His Connection To Super Bowl Host City Las Vegas and How His Vegas Residency Has Re-Energized Him and Allowed Him To Reconnect With His Fans…
Zane: I wanted to ask you, you know, what you have learned from from doing these residencies in particular, your latest one, My Way out of Las Vegas residency and what is what’s how you’ve grown even as a performer after so many years of performing at the highest level. But from a Vegas point of view.
Usher: Reconnecting more than anything with my my core fans. You know, there’s a whirlwind, you know, of life experiences that lead you to the songs. And that song or those songs are the soundtrack for a lot of people’s lives. So when I look out in that audience and I see my fans who made a decision to have this be their destination with their loved ones, or either their friends and have an amazing time, it just really minded me, but also to re-energized my passion for what I do. I’ve always loved the live aspect of it more than anything. I enjoy making, you know, incredible records that touch places that I probably never go, but to literally be on the stage and perform every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday during the time that I’m there for an audience that I know came to see me, it really, really feels connected. It felt like, you know, if Vegas had ever become a place where artists came to just preserve their their past legacy, I don’t look at it as that. I’ve always looked at it as an opportunity to open new doors and new opportunities and look what happened that actually became so the idea of manifestation. I went to Las Vegas to just remind myself and remind my fans that I’m here for that I am connected, that I am still, you know, running and gunning. And I’m and I got out and I got a lot more where that came from.
Usher Previews His Just-Announced New Album ‘Coming Home’…
Zane: More big news today We’re Not Done is an album that’s just been announced and is up for preorder right now on Apple Music.
Usher: Yay! Yay, yay. And it’s called Coming Home. It is a powerful statement.
Zane: I feel like your albums have always said something. You know, your last project was Zeethoven just called. I said a lot about where your head was at and your heart was there. And it was a love letter for you to where you’re from. What does coming home mean to you?
Usher: So a love letter once again to the legacy of my of my career. You know, I’ve been coming home in a lot of different ways. The choice of music and reconnection to some of the people that I’ve worked with from my past. And I always wanted to work with writers that I’ve actually made hit number one records with. In a sense, I’m coming home because I’m in that comfortable space. When you’re at home, you’re comfortable. When you’re at home, you feel connected, elevate, rise and inspire. To me, L.A. working together once again. The the inspiration that I’m drawn from does come, you know, with a bit of complication, which is in the music that I’m going to speak of. There’s a lot of honesty. Yes. I mean, come on, man. I don’t know. I’m not lying to you. Of course. And while leave it to the people who have to listen. And if any indication of what we’ve done in the past, me in LA is a representation of what you should expect, then there you have it. But what you do know is that we’re coming together. I’m coming home. I’m back home with my team. You know, even when you see the artwork, you will understand it. When you see the peach. You get it. You understand where I’m from and what we’re doing. And also to what this means, the subtlety of that. But more than anything, it’s a celebration of music. Coming home in many other ways as you get more acclimated. When I put out more records and also to put more visuals, actually begin to really understand it. But I think that it is something to be celebrated.
Usher on Whether Fans Can Expect Special Guests During His Super Bowl Halftime Performance…
Zane: Everyone’s going to ask the question, so I’m going to be the first one to get it all out on the table. Is it too soon to talk about possible guests on stage? People love the idea of it. Last year, Rihanna didn’t bring any guests in. The show didn’t need it. Sometimes people bring it because they want to embellish and celebrate and collaborate and share a moment. Have you thought about it?
Usher: Well, one thing I can say is I’ve, you know, collaborated with a lot of incredible artists throughout the years. If anything, I like the socially engaged the world, you know what I’m saying? I like to hear who you think, you know, would would be a great guest, great guest to complement this.
Zane: You’re not asking me that.
Usher: You’re absolutely. I will put you on the spot. You going to put me on? I can’t put you on. So we leave that one on the takeover. So, by the way, by the way, there’ll be many more Sundays to talk about this leading up to the Grand Sunday of all. Yeah. And I’m so happy that we were able to, you know, launch it today.
Usher on the Secrets To His Youth and Longevity…
Zane: What is the secret to you for longevity? What is that? What is that secret? On the secret to it?
Usher: I don’t know. I don’t know. I think I’ve just been happy in my worst moments. And I think that I’ve been grateful, you know, to. To be fortunate enough to just stay passionate. You know, I think that’s it. I think if you stay motivated and you stay focused on the work and not the stress when there are stressful moments, don’t completely give all the way into it. Of course, you should be mindful. Of course you should be. You know, you should learn. But I guess it’s staying creative. Something about this journey has been about never arriving. Mm hmm. It’s just really been about the journey. You know, the journey is the destination, so.
The Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) has lamented the death of the Nigerian Rapper Mohbad who died recently at the age of 27, saying, if he had opened up to the group about his travails, he would have been kept safe from his attackers.
In a message of sympathy to Mohbad’s immediate family, management team and worldwide fans,.OPC President, Otunba Wasiu Afolabi, described the death of Mohbad as an unquantifiable yet avoidable tragedy.
“OPC sees the death of this promising, hardworking and talented young musician as a personal loss because he was a true Yoruba Ambassador, whose songs and craftsmanship promoted the Yoruba language and people,” said Afolabi in a press statement on Monday by the OPC General Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Fasehun.
“However, we believe he, his parents and management ought to have involved the OPC when the disagreement between Mohbad and other associates escalated to the point of intimidation, assault and haunting.
“OPC has successfully mediated in such cases in the past and we have brought peace and harmony to such feuding parties to the satisfaction of all and sundry.
“Sometimes we act alone and sometimes in collaboration with the Police Force, Civil Defence and DSS. But at the end of the day, we protect the weak against the strong oppressor.
“Where necessary, we can take the case directly to the government. But in most cases, the mere mention of OPC being involved will bring sanity to all concerned, no matter who that person or organisation considers himself to be.
“And I dare say that Mohbad would have lived a better quality of life, and would most likely be alive today, if he and his people had brought his troubles to OPC.
“Meanwhile, we want to use this medium to urge the police, DSS and government to bring to justice all the individuals and groups who contributed to the oppression, harassment and beating of this young man. It doesn’t matter whether such tormentors contributed directly and indirectly to his death. There are enough video evidence and living witnesses to give Mohbad justice in the law courts, even if the charges will be for assault, battery, conduct capable of causing a breach of the peace and attempted murder.
“In addition, all the police officers and formations that refused to act in his complaints should all be brought to book for official sanctioning.”
According to Afolabi, OPC, as a socio-cultural organisation, stood for peace and justice as well as the security of the community and the nation at large.
He recalled that since its formation by the Late Founder, Dr. Frederick Fasehun in 1994, the organisation had not only contributed security personnel for guarding the community, but had been involved in providing safety for petroleum pipelines in the South-West.
Afolabi recalled that at the height of its struggle against military rule, the organisation OPC boasted no less than 6 million members.
