  • Xbox update attempts to block ‘unauthorized’ controllers and converters which is pretty awful for the fighting game community

Part of the appeal of fighting games to many is the controller freedom of being able to play on whatever it is you want to, but it looks like one of the major console makers is about to put a limit on that.

Microsoft has revealed that “unauthorized” accessories including converters and controllers will soon be blocked from use on Xbox systems, which is of course raising concerns in the FGC.

Starting November 12, 2023, the company is no longer going to allow unofficial third-party controllers and other accessories on their console platforms.

Currently, Xbox users with affected peripherals are getting hit with an “error 0x82d60002” warning them of the impending change.

This could be especially devastating for the Xbox fighting game scene, especially when we know the big converter, adapter and custom board manufacturers are being impacted.

Brook Gaming released a statement recognizing that their converters, fighting boards and steering wheel adapters are caught in the crossfire.

“We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause you,” wrote the Brook team on October 20. “The Brook engineering team is fully committed to developing a solution to maintain product quality and functionality.

Please trust that we will spare no effort in identifying potential solutions. Once further updates become available, we will promptly notify you through our official community platforms.”

This has of course drawn the attention and ire of the FGC with players and community leaders calling for a change to this policy.

If nothing does happen, we could witness a further exodus of fighting game players from Xbox to PlayStation and PC along with events avoiding Microsoft consoles, which already took a toll on the platform over the past generation.

Longtime arcade stick designer and current Director of Business Development for Evo Mark ‘MarkMan’ Julio is hopeful that a solution can be found and offers to help Microsoft in addressing these parameters for accessories that we use most.

Microsoft claims this move is for security and to prevent cheating, but it also appears to be a push to make more manufacturers get an official license to operate on the system at all now.

Conversely, they are said to be making licenses for wireless accessories easier to obtain since the vast majority are only wired right now, and hopefully those with wired products like the FGC uses can either get an easier license too or find another solution.

Companies like Victrix, Razer, HyperX, PowerA, 8BitDo, Hori, Scuf Gaming, Pdp Gaming, Logitech and others are already official hardware partners with Xbox, so they shouldn’t be impacted by the change.

“Microsoft and other licensed Xbox hardware partners’ accessories are designed and manufactured with quality standards for performance, security, and safety,” said Microsoft in a statement via Windows Central. “Unauthorized accessories can compromise the gaming experience on Xbox consoles (Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.) Players may receive a pop-up warning that their accessory is unauthorized. Eventually, the unauthorized accessory will be blocked from use to preserve the console gaming experience.”

We’ll keep you all updated as more information becomes available.

  • Nemo has a priceless reaction to pulling off a command grab against rival Itabashi Zangief during Street Fighter 6 session

Saishunkan|Nemo has developed quite the disdain for grappler characters due to his friendly rivalry with Itabashi Zangief, a professional Street Fighter player who has a preference for the grappler archetype. As such, it’s not an uncommon thing to see Nemo groan when he runs into Itabashi during his streamed Street Fighter 6 sessions.

We recently saw Nemo run into Itabashi with Nemo playing as JP and Itabashi as Zangief. Throughout the set, Nemo was surprised to find out that Itabashi wasn’t reacting to JP’s command grab projectile all that well.

“He can’t react to my command grab,” exclaimed Nemo upon seeing this. “Yeah, I feel so good. Command grabbing a command grappler… How great this feels.”

Needless to say, it was quite humorous to see how happy Nemo was to best his rival in this way. Later on, Nemo would begin to question why JP’s command grab had the same amount of start up as his Drive Impact (26 frames) since this created a problematic mix up for opponents.

“Why does his command grab have the same start up as Drive Impact?” questioned someone from Nemo’s stream chat. “I don’t know why. I’m trying to show how broken grapplers can be to save the future of this game. That’s why I use his command grab!”

“I am the light side,” continued Nemo in his nonsensical speech. “My JP so bright… You see? The god of command grab… even he died from my command grab.”

  • About Justin Jedlica Husband And His Reflection On $1M In Plastic Surgery

Born on August 11, 1980, Justin Jedlica, famously recognized as the “Human Ken Doll,” has achieved global recognition due to his extensive history of undergoing numerous cosmetic procedures. Jedlica initiated his exploration into cosmetic enhancements with his first procedure, a rhinoplasty.

This decision was influenced by his teenage exposure to shows like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, where he associated body sculpting and cosmetic surgery with the opulent and glamorous lifestyles he aspired to replicate.

In this article, we will delve into the details surrounding Justin Jedlica’s husband, addressing questions about their marital status and his sexual orientation. Additionally, we will explore the journey of the ‘Human Ken Doll,’ Justin Jedlica, as he reflects on his extensive $1 million investment in plastic surgery.

Who Is Justin Jedlica Husband? Is He Gay?

There is no speculation regarding Justin Jedlica’s sexuality, as he is openly gay. He was previously in a five-year relationship with a wealthy businessman, whom he married in 2014 but separated from in 2016. The identity of his former husband remains undisclosed, but during their time together, they predominantly resided in Trump Towers.

Justin’s extreme body modifications were fully supported by his ex-partner. Justin revealed that he informed his spouse that his plastic surgeries were a turn-on for him. However, he later admitted that this was the reason for their separation.

About Justin Jedlica Husband And His Reflection On $1M In Plastic Surgery

Following the breakup, a heartbroken Justin Jedlica entered into a relationship with Pixxe Fox, who, like him, had terminated a previous relationship due to her obsession with plastic surgery.

Nevertheless, it seems Justin’s involvement with Miss Pixxe was brief, as he later appeared on the television show “Millionaire Matchmaker” in 2016 with the hope that host Patti Stanger would assist him in finding love. Unfortunately, his quest for love did not meet with as much success as his surgeries.

Expressing his admiration, he states, “I always idealized her look because she was famous for her extremely plastic appearance and her unapologetic ownership of it.” In a world filled with filtered images, Jedlica maintains a bold and unfiltered approach to life and appearance. When questioned about his dramatic transformations, he humorously responds, “How dare you? Don’t we all look like that in our ‘pre-do’ stage?”

Jedlica also acknowledges the inspiring journey of Australian personality Courtney Act. Reflecting on his fondness for Australia, he considers himself a “Sydney boy” who resonates with the city’s vibrant nightlife and atmosphere, drawing parallels to Los Angeles. Sydney has long been on his radar as a potential place to call home in Australia.

  • Here’s What John Stamos & Demi Moore Shared About 1980s Hooking Up

    • John Stamos reveals details about his relationship with Demi Moore in his new memoir.
    • Stamos recalls a conversation with Moore where she suggests they may have “fooled around” in the past.
    • The memoir also discusses Stamos’ experiences working with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on Full House.

    Here is what happened:

In his memoir, “If You Would Have Told Me,” actor John Stamos opens up about his relationship with actress Demi Moore during their time on the soap opera General Hospital. Stamos describes Moore as a firecracker with a gravelly voice and a big laugh, and he admires her sophistication and worldly nature. Fast-forwarding four decades, Stamos reveals a conversation between him and Moore at a party, where their friend asks if they ever slept together. Moore pauses before saying she doesn’t know if they did but admits they might have fooled around. Stamos smiles and changes the subject to a past memory of going to a concert together.

Stamos also touches on his friendship with Heather Locklear, sharing a memory of drunkenly passing out in his hotel room after meeting her at a car show in 1983. Many years later, Stamos and Locklear laugh about the incident when they host a show together. Throughout his memoir, Stamos aims to be 100 percent honest, discussing topics such as his battle with alcoholism, the end of his marriage to Rebecca Romijn, finding love again with Caitlin McHugh, and the college admissions scandal involving his Full House co-star Lori Loughlin.

Stamos also reflects on his time working with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on Full House. He recalls that they were the final ones to be cast in the show, playing the role of Michelle Tanner. Stamos initially thought they would just be in the background, but they turned out to be influential on the show. At first, working with the twins was challenging, as they were just six months old when they were cast, often crying on set. Stamos even threatened to quit the show if they didn’t improve. However, he quickly developed a bond with the twins and realized the importance of their characters on the show.

Not only did Stamos grow to love working with the Olsen twins, but they also had a significant impact on his perspective on fatherhood. Spending time with them off-camera and developing a connection with them made him consider the idea of having children in the future. Stamos describes the sisters as the best versions of future dreams and acknowledges how they allowed him to envision fatherhood without the immediate responsibility. Overall, Stamos’s memoir provides a candid look into his relationships and experiences throughout his career in Hollywood.

  • Neat visualized motion charts show how the amount of Master-ranked characters has changed in Street Fighter 6 since release

And just how many dang Kens there are

Master rank is basically the highest achievement that most Street Fighter 6 players can strive to achieve realistically, but many would say that’s where the true game begins.

AlietteFaye recently put together a fascinating motion chart that visualizes the amount of characters in Master rank and how that’s changed every week since launch.

Starting all the way back in June for week one, JP and Ken were already far and away ahead of the rest of the pack although interestingly, E. Honda, Manon and Luke rounded out the top five at that time.

By week four, however, Manon and Honda’s numbers would slow down significantly while Cammy and Dee Jay took their spots with Marisa also racing up the charts.

It’s cool to see Rashid pop in at week eight where he quickly overtakes Dhalsim and Lily with around 1,000 Master players after those first seven days though he seems to slow down after reaching around 3,000.

The same goes for A.K.I., who actually gets ahead of Rashid by the end of the visualization though they’re still both technically in the bottom five.

By the time we reached the end at week 21, it’s pretty staggering to see just how many Kens there are compared to the rest of the cast.

We can’t see the exact data, but while Ken appears to have over 11,000 Master players, Luke is second down around 7,000 followed by Cammy, JP and interestingly, Ryu.

This chart shows us a nice look at the trends of SF6’s early life where characters like Manon and Honda were viewed as immediate issues for online users, but now, they’re more in the middle of the pack.

Shout outs to AlietteFaye for keeping track of all of this data and putting it together in an easily digestible way, and if you missed it before, they also recently released a bunch of other charts tracking overall player distribution across all ranks.

  • Gnarly sequence shows how Blanka can KO in just two touches in Street Fighter 6

Damage output is often a tad over-tuned in the initial releases of fighting games, and that seems to increasingly be the case for Street Fighter 6 as Wolfgang, one of the most prominent American Blanka players, recently revealed a sequence showing how the character can KO in just two touches.

The first question that usually comes to mind when processing touch of death or other extremely high damage scenarios is, “is this practical enough to happen in a real match?” We’re somewhat scared to report that while there are a few requirements to be met, this two touch of death mix up is extremely practical.

Blanka has to have a full three Super bars stocked, a full Drive Gauge, and needs to corner his opponent in order to pull this off. He also has to have two of his three Blanka-chan dolls available, as of course this beat down has a Blanka-chan doll corner mix up baked in.

The attack begins with a standing heavy punch cancelled into Blanka’s Super 2, which leads into a fairly routine mix up after just five hits. The good news is that the doll is not electrified at this point, so it’s not part of the mix up, but a wake up throw tech will spell the end for the defender here:

This means Blanka joins the likes of Marisa, JP, and technically A.K.I. (though hers is not all that practical) in the two-touch SF6 club. Things get a little interesting here as damage output obviously factors into a characters’ overall strength and tier placement, but many would argue that they’d want their Street Fighter 6 rounds to be determined by more than just two interactions… especially if one follows the other in a disadvantageous oki situation.

We actually addressed this directly on a recent episode of Talk and Block. In it we dig into general player expectations for how Street Fighter rounds should be determined, and how Capcom might change things around in such a way that a character like Marisa, whose advantage is directly embedded in her relatively higher damage output, could still hit harder than everyone else without watering down the overall experience.

Do you think Blanka (or anyone) should be able to KO in two hits, or should general damage be reduced so that players have to outplay each other just a little more in order to win a round? Sound off in the comments below.

  • All the Songs Taylor Swift & Harry Styles Wrote About Their Romance Allegedly- SEO optimized.

    • Taylor Swift released her re-recorded album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which includes vault tracks that reference her relationship with Harry Styles.
    • Harry Styles also released songs that are allegedly inspired by his romance with Taylor Swift.
    • Some of the songs mention specific moments and details from their relationship, such as accidents, trips, and changes in appearance.

    Here is what happened:

Taylor Swift recently released her re-recorded album, “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” which includes several unheard vault tracks that seem to reference her past relationship with Harry Styles. The Grammy-winning pop stars dated for a short period in 2012 before parting ways. Taylor used their breakup as inspiration for songs like “Style” and “Out of the Woods” on her original “1989” album, which marked her transition from country to pop music.

While Taylor has been cryptic about revealing the subjects of her songs, “Style” is widely believed to be about her relationship with Harry. The song’s lyrics and hidden message in the album’s liner notes provide clues that point to their time together. Similarly, Harry’s “Two Ghosts” on his debut solo album seems to be a counter-argument to “Style,” referencing their shared experiences and how sometimes things change in a relationship.

Another song on Taylor’s re-recorded album, “Out of the Woods,” is believed to be about her anxiety during their relationship. The lyrics allude to a snowmobile accident they had while on a trip with Justin Bieber, with Taylor wondering if they would make it through the challenges they faced. “Say Don’t Go” and “Is It Over Now?” also touch on their relationship, with references to Harry’s post-breakup relationships and their famous snowmobile accident.

The album’s liner note for “I Know Places” suggests that the media attention surrounding their relationship was overwhelming. Taylor felt that their love was fragile and vulnerable, and she believed that media scrutiny would ruin it. Overall, Taylor and Harry have expressed no hard feelings towards each other and have been seen together at public events. These songs allow fans to reminisce about their past relationship and the music that came out of it.
