During the days of Street Fighter 5, numerous parody trailers were released for Vega and Ed that really highlighted their problems in ways that the official trailers never did. Later, this same type of trailer was also created for F.A.N.G.
A.K.I. was recently released as the latest DLC fighter for Street Fighter 6. Despite what was shown in the official trailer, many have come to believe that A.K.I. is one of the weaker characters in Street Fighter 6 at the moment.
Due to this, Venom has decided to create a “proper showcase” trailer for A.K.I. in Street Fighter 6. Just like with the parody trailers that were released during the era of Street Fighter 5, these segments are instead intended to put a magnifying glass on some of A.K.I.’s design flaws.
Based on this “proper showcase” trailer, it would appear that A.K.I.’s Sinister Slide follow ups can sometimes have difficulty passing through projectiles. Additionally, A.K.I.’s anti-airs are demonstrated to be inconsistent.
At one point, Venom demonstrates how much damage A.K.I.’s poison deals while the opponent is positioned in her poison puddle. Though A.K.I.’s damage is actually said to be quite high, the poison mechanic on its own doesn’t appear to be that threatening.

One modder in BeyonderZ recently showed off what they’re cooking up this spooky season by putting Scream’s Ghostface into Mortal Kombat 1, and he’s looking scarily perfect already.
Unsurprisingly, BeyonderZ decided to put the meta slasher over Smoke to give him the knife moves as well as smoke bombs, which is definitely be best fit for what he wants to be doing to you.
If you had any doubts, Ghostface is looking like he’ll fit into the Mortal Kombat cast just fine and might be a sneak peek at what he could end up as an actual character.
Shortly after MK1’s release, Ed Boon did put out what is probably a teaser image showing a mix of horror icons NRS has gotten to before like Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger, Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s Leatherface, which did include Ghostface with a question mark alongside some others like Halloween’s Michael Myers.
Though we already know the contents of Kombat Pack 1 starting with Homelander, data miners were able to uncover files referring to who may be coming afterwards to MK1 as DLC, and Ghostface was reportedly referenced within, making his chances look pretty good now.
Unfortunately, this mod doesn’t appear to be available to the public yet, but we can still get a taste of the bloody good time he’ll hopefully provide.

Capcom’s already released a handful of big titles this year between the likes of Resident Evil 4’s remake, Street Fighter 6 and Exoprimal, but it seems they aren’t done yet.
During the Q&A portion of their quarterly earnings report, the company confirmed they’ve got another “unannounced major title” planned to launch sometime before April 2024.
“In the second half of this financial year, we plan to release Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy in January in addition to a currently unannounced major title,” Capcom told its investors. “Moreover, we plan to boost the sales figures of new titles of the first half of this financial year, like Street Fighter 6, to achieve the target.”
Interestingly, this is now the second time we’ve heard of a big unknown game coming out of Capcom since their last earnings call in July mentioned it too as a title they’re expecting to sell millions of copies.
So that leaves us with two big questions as to what it is and when the game will be revealed?
As for the chances of this being a fighting game, let’s take a closer look.
Considering we just got SF6 this year and the Capcom Fighting Collection last, those are almost assuredly out the window.
That would pretty much leave Marvel vs. Capcom or another Versus style game as the only feasible option.
You may think that sounds wild, but remember back to seven years ago.
Capcom announced Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite in December 2016, which was just around 10 months after the release of Street Fighter 5, and released less than a year later.
We’re also now as far away from the launch of Marvel Infinite than that game was from Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
There’s more reasons as to why we feel now would be a good time to take MvC for another spin, which you can find in the video below, but obviously that’s not the only option for the company.
Admittedly, I still believe we’re more likely to see a new Marvel vs. Capcom classic collection before a brand new entry, which could also work with such a quick turnaround, though not sure Capcom would have as much faith in that selling millions and millions of copies by itself.
Stepping outside of fighting games, Monster Hunter is looking like the most likely candidate overall considering Rise first launched over two and a half years ago while being their second best selling game of all time behind Monster Hunter World.
We’re not sure launching another Resident Evil title within a year of the last one would be the best move, so that also leaves Devil May Cry and Mega Man up there in the probable options too.
The last mainline title for the blue bomber Mega Man 11 came all the way back in 2018, so he seems pretty due for something besides collections at this point.
As for where Capcom will reveal this game, there is technically the Paris Games Week going down this Wednesday, November 1, to Sunday, November 5, though we’re not putting too much stock in that yet.
Instead, we’re looking more towards The Game Awards 2023 coming on December 7 where we’ll all be keenly watching to see what Street Fighter 6 gets nominated for soon.
He did have a bit of a costume mishap, however, getting into the ring with one of his wings / shoulder pads coming off, but he was about to throw them off anyway.

Kenny Omega has a pretty long history repping Street Fighter at this point considering he got to officially portray Cody Travers for his Street Fighter 5 reveal as the new Mayor of Metro City.
It’s not the first time he’s dressed up as a Street Fighter character for an AEW show either, as he previously took to the ring as Akuma back at Fyter Fest 2019.
This is extra fitting, though, considering Manon is Omega’s main in SF6 that he used to take on former UFC champion Mighty Mouse a few weeks ago.
