  • Simple and Valid steps on how to pay UNICAL school fees for 2015/2016 Academic Session

    As the 2015/2016 Academic Session commences, the school has made proper documentation and guidelines on how to pay your school fees without been high jacked by fraudsters. This documentation was posted on the school portal as follows:

    1.  Students (Fresh and Returning students) should log on to the portal with their Registration Number or Matric Number

    2.  Generate and Print Bill

    *3.  Check the list of Banks for payment according to programme of study

    4.  Go to the bank and make payment on e-Transact Platform

    5.  Collect bank payment slip which contain payment details and confirmation order number

    6.  Go back to the portal to log on with your Registration Number or Matric Number

    7.  Then input your BILL NUMBER (located on your bill) on the next page to enable you gain access to the portal

  • Cross River State Begins Hunt For Ghost Workers In Education System Today

    The Cross River State Government through the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB has commenced man hunt for ghost workers in the state educational system.

    Notice of the decision to purge the system of ghost workers was communicated through a press release signed by the Board’s Chairman, Dr. Stephen Odey and made available to newsmen.

    The exercise will involve personal audit of all teaching and non teaching staff in the schools and first on the list is Yala and Ogoja local government areas which begins today, Monday 18th January, 2015 while other LGA’s are to be on standby as their itinerary will be made available soon.

    Items required for the personal audit staff in the local government education authorities include: letter of first appointment, letter of conferment of appointment, original copies of all certificates, current pay slip and lesson notes for last term (teaching staff).

    Also, Head Teachers are also expected to make available attendance register, time book for the past year, along with staff disposition of their respective schools while Executive Secretaries are expected to do same for staff of the local government education authorities.

  • Confirmed: NYSC 2015 Batch A POP Will Be On The April 14th, 2016

    Last time I wrote a post about NYSC shifting the POP date for 2015 Batch A Corps Member to February 14. Anyway, I stated on that post that I have to confirm the real date since it’s a rumour. The rumour was actually carried out by the Local Inspectors (LI) from some local government across the nation. With no much ado, the date has been confirmed by the DG of NYSC himself.

    According to information posted on the NYSC website, the POP for the 2015 Batch A Corps Members is as follows :

    Venue: Unspecified
