There has been a hot heated debate on the  irrational Logic that sustains the straight jacket mentality cum the masculine superiority over that of the female .
Such argument has lingered on for over two decades now. And experts who in an attempt to address this issue have toed different camps.

As regarding the issues of Gender, some havtargued that the Male is superior in all respect to the female.
Others have toed a feminist dimension to the issue of Gender. While some others still did argue for radical.

We cannot forget in a Hurry, the works and Investments of great minds like the  Mother Teresa, Margaret Thatcher,  Mary slessor etc.

Unlike the American president Barack Obama,  her Excellency, Sen. Alhaassan,  had many obstacles to contend with.  In fact,  her feminine Gender characteristics proved further that she was teleologically disadvantaged to serve as a touch bearing leader over her sick State and the bedeviled nation at large.

Without much ado, Last weekend News report which had it that :
The alleged declaration of Darius Ishaku of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the Taraba State governorship election by INEC, was upturned by the election tribunal early on Saturday morning ,November 7, 2015.

According to our correspondent, The tribunal reportedly sacked Mr Ishaku as governor and declared Senator Alhassan, who prior to the time of her election as Governor was a ministerial designate.

With this victory, Senator Alhaassan became the only and first female governor in Nigeria's history of democracy.

If we must recapitulate, the
erstwhile Anambra State deputy governor, Virginia Etiaba had served as an interim governor following the impeachment of the just step aside Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State. But this appointment of hers was fleeting las the appeal court nullified the impeachment in no distant time, thus ending her tenure abruptly.

The truth however remains that whether we like it or no, the name of Sen. Alhassan will not be forgotten in History of the Nigerian Democracy as the first female governor ever.  This is what we must take to heart as it is to my mind, a Point in the right direction.
