As May 29 draws nearer, there seems to have been striking revelations which prior to this time had been swept under the carpet.
Fortunately, the president elect, Gen. Muhammed Buhari armed with the Broom symbol of Change for the APC party, have opened up what I may refer to as ” a can of worms”.
From credible information reaching us, the General has informed that there are over 0.4 million (400,000) barrels of crude oil that is disappears every day in this country.
The General asserts without equivocation that these petroleum products ‘disappears into thin air’ without being accounted for by the minister for petroleum whose responsibility it is to set an eye on every transaction in this supposed all important sector of our Economy.
The Federal Government on the other hand is speechless or better still have turned deaf ears to the General’s plea for explanation and clarification. Refusing to take responsibility for such naive and irresponsible attitude. The question that issues is: who is to blame for this carelessness?
