| By Lizzy Adie, 16th May 2015, 11:00AM. This comes after media reports earlier indicating that the president and his wife have moved their personal belongings out of the official residence to their Otuoke, Bayelsa state residence following Gen. Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the poll.
In a report released by the “The Nation”, an Aso Rock insider said, I can confirm to you that most of the first family’s property have left the State House.
“The president is now staying in the Glass House with very few belongings. Intensive renovation of the president’s is going on now. Minor repairs are going on in some parts of the house. Cleaning and repainting of the entire residence with white paint is in progress”
It was also gathered that the furniture and color painting renovation of the main official residence will however commence when the next occupant (Buhari) moves in.
According to the source , Gen. Buhari will be the one to determine the kind of furniture he wants.
