NEWS: Ex-Presidential Candidate Kidnapped As Gunmen Demand 40 Million Naira.

It is no longer news that the political climate of Kogi state is in jeopardy and under tension. the mysterious death of prince Abubakar Audu, the All progressive Candidate Governorship Candidate of the State remains a mystery as medical experts, traditionalists,as well as religious clerics of both christianity and Islam  still struggle to explain the real cause of his death just minutes before..as it may appear, the announcement of his victory in the November polls. His death led to a perplexing but wise decision by INEC as they unanimously considered the Election as Inconclusive.

In a bid to remedy the state from what i may call her period of “dark age” and the tend towards doom, INEC therefore arranged for a supplementary Election.

But, with  less than 24 hours to the Kogi State supplementary governorship election as planned by INEC,  we are shocked to here that the National Chairman of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria and the presidential candidate of the party in the 2015 general elections, in person of  Alhaji Gani Galadima, has been kisnapped by gunmen.

According to our correspondence, Galadima, who is the Deputy National Chairman of Inter-Party Advisory Council, was said to have been kidnapped yesterday,  Friday morning in Osara village after Obajana in Kogi State while on his way to attend the burial of his elder brother in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The National Chairman of IPAC and Chairman of Progressive Peoples Alliance, Chief Peter Ameh, confirmed the abduction and said the kidnappers had demanded N40 million Naira ransom else all Hell will be let loose on Alhaji Gani Galadima. Chief Peter Ameh also corroborated the story by informing that the police have been let in on the matter.

In an interview with Punch Metro, Chief  Ameh argues that “The kidnappers called me with Galadima’s telephone and his son confirmed they also called him. When I tried to plead with them, they told me to shut up and that if I still wanted to see my friend alive, I knew what is best to do.”

Our source told Negroid haven  that prior to the time of abduction, Alhaji Galadima has been actively and conscientiously involved in politics and Nation building . It would be recalled that He was among five of the 14 presidential candidates who signed a statement urging the Independent National Electoral Commission to postpone the 2015 general elections. And was also part of those who signed the peace accord treaty before the international community at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja.
We therefore hope and pray that the Police would be able rescue Him from this unfortunate entanglement and mishap.
