We know, we know, Season 2 dropped a day ago and it’s way too early for a Street Fighter 6 Season 2 tier list, but competitive player and content creator Nephew has created one.
As you may have guessed, this is more to articulate his early reactions to the Season 2 patch notes as he offers us a side by side view of his Season 1 tiers next to where he predicts things will land here in Season 2.
The Juri main doesn’t have a single character in the same overall spot after the major shake up, and some have fallen or risen quite sharply. Luke, for instance, dropped from the number one spot all the way to being outside of the top 10 where he’s snuggled up next to JP, who has also seen a substantial decline.
Zangief and A.K.I. prove to be two of the biggest winners across Nephew’s analysis as both climbed up by a full seven or eight spots thanks to their respective long lists of buffs.
Nephew even has an opinion on Akuma, whom he places somewhere in the top 10, but you’ll have to consult the video to see exactly where.
The 22 character roster is split between five tier rankings including S+, (which has just two characters in it) A++, (7) A+, (6) A, (6) and B+ (1).
