The Mortal Kombat 1 patch for March 26, 2024 in now available to download. As such, patch notes for the new update have also been released.

There’s not much to say about this latest patch, though it is the patch that is releasing Janet Cage as the newest Kameo. Curiously, there’s also a reported bug fix for the Kameo even though this is the first time that players will be able to use her.

One of the listed changes is being made to address an issue in which Janey Cage will sometimes perform certain attacks in the wrong direction. This is funny considering that, just further up, it’s listed that Kameo Janet Cage is only just now being made available on all platforms.

Aside from that, there are only bug fixes that are listed that address some glaring issues. Unfortunately, there are no actual balance adjustments with this latest patch.

It should be noted that, earlier today, Ed Boon on Twitter stated that Shujinko, one of the Kameos in Mortal Kombat 1, “has got more goodies koming.” This implies that NetherRealm Studios is already working on another balance patch.
