The next character headed to Mortal Kombat 1 is none other than The Boys’ very villainous take on Superman: Homelander.
We’ve been long anticipating the character’s debut and the official Mortal Kombat 1 X account has just announced that his gameplay trailer will be coming early on Wednesday morning.
We got the character’s initial reveal trailer earlier this month, and though Starr has repeatedly stated that he will not be voicing the character in MK1, fans are still holding out hope that he will.
“The greatest superhero… in any timeline. Homelander #MK1 gameplay trailer 5/29 @ 8am CT/6am PT,” reads the text on the post accompanied by some 20 seconds of new intro footage for the coming character.
There’s another bit of voice acting in this most recently clip that does sound very similar to Starr’s cadence and delivery, though it’s hard to tell if it’s really him or not. Here we see what the prelude to battle between Homelander and Kung Lao looks like:
