The quest to find Floyd in Mortal Kombat 1 has been an interesting one. This mysterious, Pink Floyd-inspired ninja was stealthily slipped into the game as a secret fight with the recent update that also added Conan the Barbarian as a DLC fighter, and ever since this patch players everywhere have been actively on the hunt to encounter and defeat the hidden warrior.
What started out as vague hints found within the game files has now evolved into a full-blown Floyd tracker. The fan and modder behind the original hints and spreadsheet, TheThiny, has now created a tool that keeps tabs on your progress in searching for Floyd, gives you hints at what to try next, and aims to streamline the process for those still trying to make the encounter happen.
Thiny’s Floyd Tracker is currently live and begins with you simply inputting your platform username and selecting the platform you’re playing on. From here, the page will open up and provide you various statistics and details such as your win/loss record against Floyd (if you’ve already found and fought him, obviously), how many fights remain before you can expect to see him pop out and give you a clue, what challenges you should try next, and more.
“The Floyd tracker is now Live!” Thiny wrote on Twitter. “Enter your platform username and Track your progress. It will give you clues on what to try next. For Xbox / switch please use your WBID.
“Let me know if it crashes or doesn’t work! Hope it helps “

When it comes to Floyd in Mortal Kombat 1, players have a total of 37 different challenges that they could be tasked with. Of those 37, there will be 10 specific ones you’ll need to find and complete (which are different for everyone), and upon doing so, you will bring out Floyd for the opportunity to fight him.
If you do manage to encounter Floyd, you’ll have three chances to take him down before you’re out. After an encounter is over, win or lose, the set of 10 challenges you need to complete will reset and you’ll have a different batch to figure out and complete.
This Floyd Tracker tool is designed to help you keep track of which challenges you need to get done, how many you’ve already completed, and basically give you a better idea of where you’re at. There is very little on this front that’s actually in-game, so if you’re still searching for Floyd or just want to try and find him again, the Floyd Tracker should prove very useful.
But it is also worth keeping in mind that this tracker tool is brand new and still actively being worked on and improved.
