Jadon Sancho has had a truly brilliant end to the 2023/24 season which didn’t look like it was going to be too promising after being suspended by United for a social media attack on manager Erik ten Hag.

Having only played three games for the Red Devils before his suspension, Sancho went out on loan to Dortmund in the January transfer window. A return to the club that made his name.
Since then, the 24-year-old has seemed like he was back to his winning ways, making 21 appearances across all competitions, helping the team to a fifth-place finish in the Bundesliga and getting Dortmund to the final of the Champions League where they lost 2-0 to Real Madrid.
Sancho’s three goals and three assists were a mere shadow of his form during his previous stint at the club, getting 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games across all competitions, a massive contributing factor to Dortmund winning the DFL-Supercup in 2019/20 and the DFB-Pokal in 2020/21.
This glimmer of the player he once was has been enough to get Dortmund interested in resigning the United winger who the parted ways with for €85 million back in 2021.
Reports have previously placed Sancho at the heart of Dortmund’s summer transfer plans, with only his salary being a point of contention to signing the England international. Failing this, Dortmund have identified Sancho’s United teammate mason Greenwood as his possible alternative should his wages prove too costly for the German club.
However, now another top European team are interested in Sancho, one who has similarly to Dortmund, also had links with Greedwood, having already started preliminary talks.
Juventus are now looking to Sancho as another option to strengthen their squad this summer, potentially seeing a move for both United men.
Tuttomercatoweb have reported that Juventus are ready to compete with Dortmund for SAncho’s signature, being able to meet the asking price of the young winger.
It’s also being reported that Juve may be looking at a loan offer with an option to buy at the end.
Juve FC have said themselves “Sancho has been a fine attacker at BVB, and he could do a good job for us if we add him to our group this summer.”
