Although most characters still only have three actual costumes to pick from in matches, Street Fighter 6 offers a wide variety of customization options for players to make the experience look more how they want, and more are about to drop.
Capcom announced something else new arriving in SF6’s incoming update tonight being new Pop versions of the cast to use.
These can be picked as options to use for the challenger screen for online matches similarly to the cartoon variants that were added to the game previously.
They released a trailer showing all of them off, so you can see if you want them for your characters or not including Ed and everyone else on the roster.
It’s not stated how much they’re going to cost, but if they’re the same as the cartoon ones, then they’ll be 100 Fighter Coins or 2,000 Drive Tickets each.
This is shaping up to be one of if not the biggest update SF6 has received yet, considering Capcom is not only adding a new character in Ed but also the new stage and a few quality of life improvements.
Moreover, we’re actually getting some balance changes in a few hours too though it’s not the full Season 2 overhaul that’ll still come later.
Street Fighter’s servers are scheduled to go down shortly to prepare for the update, and you can check out the new trailer below.
