People really seem to love them some Astro Bot given the game of the year awards the platformer has received, and now there’s even more to love.

Team Asobi just released a free new level to Astro Bot today with more on the way, and this one includes something special for Tekken fans too.

The game filled to the brim with characters and references to PlayStation’s 30-year history, and the additional stage keeps that going with its reward.

Astro Bot’s Tick-Tock Shock level allows players to rescue the one and only Heihachi Mishima in his Tekken 8 attire after completing it, but he’s not alone either.

The Gacha Lab also added a smaller Kuma as the “unbearably cute Junior Bodyguard,” and he can also fart too.

This is far from the first fighting game cameo we’ve seen among the dozens and dozens of characters included in Astro Bot.

Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter, Kazuya from Tekken, Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske from Guilty Gear have all appeared previously, so perhaps we’ll have even more later too.

Team Asobi plans to release new Astro Bot levels every week starting from today through March 13 and presumably more references packed into each.

You can check out the new level and acquiring Heihachi plus Kuma below if you don’t care about spoilers thanks to Royston Dooley.
