The Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns update is set to launch on September 24, 2024. On that day, Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot are all set to be released then, with Ghostface, the T-1000, and Conan the Barbarian releasing at later dates.
Earlier today, NetherRealm Studios revealed on one Sektor’s new Brutalities. Due to how it utilizes a crane from Sektor’s suit, this is the type of Brutality that the Sektor from the previous timeline would not be able to perform.
As seen in the clip, Sektor is able to trigger this particular Brutality by winning a match with her back throw. It’s currently unknown if there are any other conditions needed to access this animation.
After putting the opponent into the ground, Sektor will then proceed to hover over towards them before stomping on them. To add a bit more pain, Sektor will even grind the opponent’s body a little with her foot.
However, the worst is yet to come for the unsuspecting victim. With the mantis crane still active, Sektor will then proceed to rip the opponent’s head. You can actually hear the sounds of bones snapping as Johnny Cage’s spine is broken.
Though the enemy is clearly already dead by this point, Sektor isn’t quite done. It would appear that Sektor brings the decapitated head into the suit with her before she then poses.
Sections of Sektor’s suit will then open up, leaking out a riving of blood. Considering that Sektor is still seemingly human by this point, it seems like she’s effectively bathing in the opponent’s blood. Needless to say, this is very gory and disgusting.
