We’d honestly be surprised if there wasn’t some kind of major reveal or announcement for the highly anticipated 2XKO League of Legends fighting game at Evo 2024, but it’s always nice to get some confirmation.
The game’s official X account posted the promise on Thursday that 2XKO’s sixth playable character would be revealed at the big dance in Las Vegas next month, and even seems to be hinting at whom it might be.
The initial post is fairly straightforward showing thumbnails for already revealed Darius, Ekko, Yasuo, Ahri, and Illaoi (the former and latter of which we recently got some cool tag team combo footage for) with a prompt saying the sixth champion’s identity is en route.

In a follow up post, however, the individual manning the official 2XKO account shares a bit more, sharing a picture of Ashe and stating “Personally, I would love to see a zoner and I haven’t seen anyone mention this champion yet.”

That leaves us at an interesting place; surely it’s not going to be Ashe revealed at Evo, right? The frost archer very well may be en route to the game’s roster at some point, but it seems a bit on the nose for someone who is likely in the know to directly bring her up in this manner if she’s indeed the coming reveal.
The zoning archetype hint is a bit more vague, however, so that may still hold some water for us speculators. The always popular Caitlin comes to mind, as do the likes of Annie, Senna and Anivia.
We’d love to hear who you think is likely the next League Champion to be revealed for 2XKO in the comments, so feel free to toss your best guesses out and be sure to check back here on EventHubs to find out who it actually winds up being during Evo weekend.
Also, if you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, be sure to watch the recent Q&A on the upcoming Alpha test.
