Hunter x Hunter’s first major fighting game may have been delayed out of 2024, but they still have some more characters to show off to help hold fans over.
Arc System Works and Bushiroad Games just debuted the gameplay trailer for Razor in Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact.
Despite his size, the Greed Island Game Master is shown to have quite a bit of range and mobility as well between his long limbs, quick slide and volleyball skills.
A big part of Razor’s gameplay is going to revolve around his Aura Ball Nen powers for a strong projectile plus an apparent receiving stance with multiple follow-up options.
Plus, he can also summon his 14 Devils to assist him in battle with combos to pass the ball and set up traps.
Razor will be one of the 16 characters included on the base roster, and while we know all of their identities now, we’re still waiting on trailers for Morel and Kite at least.
Nen Impact was recently pushed to next year to implement rollback netcode into the game, and ArcSys says they’re also going to be using the time to fine tune the system mechanics and characters.
Hunter x Hunter is now set to launch in 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
