Saishunkan|Nemo has developed quite the disdain for grappler characters due to his friendly rivalry with Itabashi Zangief, a professional Street Fighter player who has a preference for the grappler archetype. As such, it’s not an uncommon thing to see Nemo groan when he runs into Itabashi during his streamed Street Fighter 6 sessions.
We recently saw Nemo run into Itabashi with Nemo playing as JP and Itabashi as Zangief. Throughout the set, Nemo was surprised to find out that Itabashi wasn’t reacting to JP’s command grab projectile all that well.
“He can’t react to my command grab,” exclaimed Nemo upon seeing this. “Yeah, I feel so good. Command grabbing a command grappler… How great this feels.”
Needless to say, it was quite humorous to see how happy Nemo was to best his rival in this way. Later on, Nemo would begin to question why JP’s command grab had the same amount of start up as his Drive Impact (26 frames) since this created a problematic mix up for opponents.
“Why does his command grab have the same start up as Drive Impact?” questioned someone from Nemo’s stream chat. “I don’t know why. I’m trying to show how broken grapplers can be to save the future of this game. That’s why I use his command grab!”
“I am the light side,” continued Nemo in his nonsensical speech. “My JP so bright… You see? The god of command grab… even he died from my command grab.”
