Winds and rains that are battering Northern California have knocked out power to 40,679 PG&E customers in Butte County this evening. There are 18,751 customers without power in the unincorporated areas of the county.
In Chico, there were 9,767 customers without power as of 11:05 p.m. In the Oroville area, 6,335 customers were without power. There were 5,649 homes without power in Paradise.
According to the outage map, 175 customers in Gridley were without power.
There is no estimate on when power may be restored to the residents in Butte County.
In Glenn County, 439 customers are without power, while Tehama County now has 2,677 customers without power with 1,565 of those customers in Red Bluff and 1,082 in the unincorporated county areas.
