The National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) permanent orientation camp situated in Obubra Local Government area is near completion – Asu Okang, Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development lays emphasises

This is in fulfilment of the promise by His Excellency Senator Professor Ayade Benedict through the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and Board Chairman of NYSC Cross River State Comr. Asu Okang to offer a total restructuring of the facilities fitted with the necessary modern splendours.

Recall that the NYSC Camp for the Batch A Stream 1 and 2 was relocated out of Obubra to a temporal site at the College of Education to enable the government carry out a facility upgrade.

In a facility tour conducted by the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports and NYSC Board Chairman CRS, recent development reveals that some structural adjustments have been made to include 12 brand new lavatories attached to the PROF. BEN AYADE twin hostel project.

The overhauling project has recorded a great deal of performance by 80% considering the time of it’s commencement barely three months ago.

The Honourable Commissioner reiterated government’s commitment to ensuring the timely delivery of the project to enable Cross River State host it’s Batch B Youth Corp members and also appreciated the team on site for a job well-done.
