Purpose of the Job:
To oversee and manage the national sales function and activities with an emphasis on establishing sustainable, long-term relationships with distribution partners and key customers whilst developing market share through implementing specific sales strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce- relevant field.
- MBA- advantageous.
- Technical Competencies & Experience:
- Scientific training in agronomy and agricultural entomology is advantageous.
- Sound understanding of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles.
- Previous experience in the citrus or fruit crop industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles supporting sales management functions.
- At least five years’ experience in a similar or related position.
- Established a professional network for functional information gathering.
- Understanding and familiarity with ag input (synthetic & biological) supply chain and distribution networks in South Africa is advantageous.
- Evidence of managing a sales team, developing, and implementing sales strategies, and managing retail distribution networks.
- Speaks English and Afrikaans.

- Willing to travel locally on a frequent basis and internationally when required.
