The fighting game community’s modding scene are among the most impressive technical wizards out there, and somehow they’re getting faster at their jobs.

MultiVersus isn’t even out of its closed alpha test yet, but Junior has already managed to mod in a bunch of video game and anime characters in the stead of the Warner Bros. cast.

The most comically fitting replacement of them all thus far is probably Dragon Ball’s Goku taking the place of Shaggy considering the Scooby-Doo fighter can already power up like a Super Saiyan — plus it’s just plain funny to see Goku tossing around sandwiches.

On top of that, Junior has also slotted in My Hero Academia’s All Might over Superman, Minecraft’s Steve over Finn, Rayman for Jake and Undertale’s Sans for Steven.

These model swaps are still just works in progress, however, with Junior seemingly not planning to release any of them until after the game is officially out.

It is quite fascinating and encouraging though that modders have already made this much progress in just a few days of having access to MultiVersus’ alpha on PC.

This could open the door to more intricate mods that replace voices or even move sets someday, but Warner Bros. probably won’t be too big of a fan of that idea for their new live service game.

Although you can’t try them out for yourself, you can still check out Junior’s mods in action in the video below.
