January 03, 2025 MANHATTAN, New York – A teen was stabbed multiple times and killed outside a deli in East Harlem on Friday evening, cops said.
According to officials, just after 6 p.m., 23rd Precinct police responded to a 911 call for an assault in progress near East 108 Street and 2nd Avenue. Upon their arrival officers located three males with various injuries stemming from an assault that took place.
Carlos Rivas, 17, was found stabbed multiple times in the chest and lower abdomen. The teen was rushed to Harlem Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers also located a 22-year-old male with a stab wound to the left arm and a 62-year-old man with a laceration to their forehead. Both were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
Incident occurred outside the “K Street Food Deli” around 6:18pm, near E 108th St & 2nd Ave in East Harlem.
