Mortal Kombat 1's Seasonal Fatalities bundle is now available for purchase and provides a tiny glimpse at the upcoming Winter finisher

The most controversial Fatality bundle that ever existed is now available for purchase in Mortal Kombat 1. Fortunately, what we have today isn’t quite as bad as what initially was — in fact it’s quite a bit better — but if you’re keen, you can now pick up the game’s Seasonal Fatality bundle.

This DLC pack gives you access to three special holiday-themed finishers. You can buy it now in the in-game store, and if you already purchased the standalone Halloween Fatality previously, you’ll get the other finishers free when they drop.

At this point in time, the Halloween Fatality has already been seen and available for some time. Next in line is the Thanksgiving Fatality, which we saw footage of last week and is now available for use in Mortal Kombat 1.

This finisher is definitely gruesome and actually fairly disgusting (not that the other Fatalities in the game aren’t). With the Thanksgiving Fatality, the user sits the opponent down at the dinner table and force feeds them food until they projectile vomit and then their head explodes.

With this bundle, though, fans have been given a tiny glimpse at what the Winter Fatality will entail — and this is the first we’ve seen of it. The in-game advertisement for the bundle features a small screenshot that shows Reptile holding a large candy cane in what looks to be a snowy setting.

Looking even more closely at the image, it seems that there are what appear to be some demonic reindeer running in a line behind him. I’d imagine that will come into play with the Fatality and we’ll probably see something like a stampede of the animals running over the opponent after the victim has been beaten senseless with a candy cane.

The Mortal Kombat 1 Seasonal Fatality bundle is available now and will cost you the same price as what the Halloween finisher initially went for alone. For 1200 Dragon Krystals (which is essentially $10 USD), you’ll get access to all three cinematic maneuvers, and buying today allows you to use the Halloween and Thanksgiving Fatalities right away. Those who purchase will get access to the Winter Fatality once it releases.
