We’ve now reached the end of officially announced content for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns with today’s release of the T-1000, and it looks like NetherRealm Studios went all out with adding him to the game.
Players had been wondering how all the Fatalities would work on the Terminator, and it turns out they are a good bit different than the rest of the cast.
Thanks to Ben-Gun, we can see all of the cinematic finishers performed against the T-1000 where it quickly becomes clear his anatomy is not like anyone else in MK1.
Instead, the developers tried to stay consistent that the fighter from the future is made up of liquid metal, which admittedly makes him a bit less gory of a punching bag to beat up on and tear apart.
He doesn’t have a skeleton, organs, or real blood, so he’ll seep out metallic fluid instead.
And once defeated, The T-1000’s human appearance with the clothes and skin start to disappear too, which is a nice touch.
Although it appears the machine does actually have a soul given one of Ermac’s Fatalities against him.
Considering the lack of blood and guts, the T-1000 may become the new favorite of content creators since they wouldn’t have to censor their footage like has become an issue with the games over the years.
You can check out the big compilation of the T-1000 getting ripped apart, blown up, smashed, reconfigured and everything else under the sun below.
