Miss Ideal Nigeria Partners Harvesters Church to Empower Young Nigerians Through Skill Acquisition

Lagos, Nigeria – In a bold step towards tackling unemployment and empowering young Nigerians, Miss Ideal Nigeria 2024, Nehita Irieme, is partnering with NOI Foundation, Gladys Ayobami  foundation and Harvesters African Empowerment Foundation, the foundation of Harvesters Church, to host a two-day skill acquisition program aimed at equipping youths with practical entrepreneurial skills.

Acknowledging the current economic struggles, the award-winning beauty queen emphasized the need for proactive solutions. “It’s been incredibly difficult for Nigerians to survive in this economy, and many young people are losing hope. However, we have so much potential in entrepreneurship. With the right training and skills, young people can be a major part of the solution to unemployment,” Nehita stated.

The program, set for February 27th and 28th at Harvesters Church, Providence Street, Lagos, will offer specialized training in makeup, wigging, cupcakes, braiding, small chops, zobo drink preparation, and bead making. In addition, all participants will attend a general class on skill acquisition and content marketing, designed to help them scale their businesses, in partnership with TDBizz.

Founder of Miss Ideal Nigeria, Ayotunde Twitch, emphasized the initiative’s significance, stating:
