Job Advert Summary    

The Microsoft Ecosystem Administrator will support the goals of the Information Systems Manager by assisting in the support of the Microsoft solutions used within the CBH group of companies, with a primary focus on the Microsoft 365 tenant and Microsoft applications. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting solutions that relate to the Microsoft investment with the CBH group of companies including Microsoft 365 subscriptions and services, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Windows, and various other Microsoft technologies.

Minimum Requirements    

  • Minimum Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Information Technology.
  • Experience working in an ICT team.
  • Understanding and experience of an ICT systems support model.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 components, including but not limited to: Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 tenant, SharePoint Online, Hosted Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Power Platform applications.
  • Experience of ICT service management processes.
  • Experience in service ownership.
  • MCSA, MCSE or similar.
  • Basic Project Management skills.
  • Business Analysis skills.
  • Microsoft IT certifications.
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.

Duties and Responsibilities    

  • Conducting and monitoring the daily maintenance of the Microsoft Ecosystem of products, including monitoring licensing and functionality to guarantee the availability of software on the computer network.
  • Delivering support to existing business users and investigating and resolving Microsoft Ecosystem errors and queries.
  • Support the development and deployment of Microsoft configuration policies for end point devices to optimise network and system services using Microsoft Intune management to ensure the readiness of systems across the variety of operating systems.
  • Supporting the business to identify and propose Microsoft application system changes, enhancements, and developments for the Microsoft Ecosystem of products.
  • Driving the adoption of Microsoft applications and products within the group.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of Microsoft applications and ensuring the installations comply with the company’s software policies.
  • Support and monitor Microsoft Data Loss Prevention, Retention, and other mechanisms to ensure appropriate compliance with various country’s privacy legislations and policies.
  • Assigning Microsoft tenant access and permission levels to employees.
  • Provide user training, support, advice, and feedback for Microsoft applications.
