Big news coming from Memphis Garrett and Christmas Abbott. The pair, known for their stint on Big Brother, are calling it quits.
After less than two years of wedded bliss, Memphis has filed for divorce. TMZ got their hands on the court documents.
Why are they splitting? Well, Memphis cited irreconcilable differences.
So far, neither of them has said anything publicly about the divorce. But Christmas did post something intriguing on Instagram. On March 2, she shared a photo of a truck with the words, “The best is yet to come.” She captioned it with, “When life shows you it has your back.”
Their love story began on the set of Big Brother: All Stars, season 22. They were competitors first, then lovers. They confirmed their romance to E! News in December 2020.
Christmas had some sweet things to say about Memphis back then. She said, “My favorite trait about Memphis is that he understands and knows exactly who I am.” She added, “He sees me and appreciates me for me and not who he thinks I should be, or who I have been in the past. He feels like my home.” She also admired his wild, unapologetic self, saying, “He is who he is.”
