Meizu 20 and 20 Pro with 12GB RAM, and E6 Displays Launched!
Meizu has unveiled its latest offering, the Meizu 20 series, in China. This lineup consists of two variants, the standard, and the Pro versions. These smartphones are the successors of the Meizu 18 series launched in 2021. Let’s look at Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro’s specifications and features, starting with display and design.
Display and Design
The Meizu 20 phones features an E6 AMOLED screen, which boasts a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and thin bezels. The regular variant comes with a 6.5-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the pro model boasts a larger 6.81-inch display with a 2K resolution with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Its Pro variant also has a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and delivers up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. Last but not the least is support for HDR10 – it’s cherry on the top.
Both devices have an in-screen fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Meizu 20 duo also has a boxy form factor and three vertically stacked camera rings, along with an LED flash unit, on their back panel.
While the regular and pro models of the Meizu 20 series share some design similarities with the iPhone 14 and Samsung Galaxy S23 series, they have their unique features that set them apart from the competition.
In terms of the camera, the Meizu 20 Pro has a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto unit. Meanwhile, the Meizu 20 has a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP macro unit, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Both devices feature a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.

A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor powers Meizu 20 series and comes with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB. The storage tech is UFS 4.0, which is fastest available right now. The devices also feature a vapor cooling chamber to dissipate heat from the phone. The Meizu 20 has a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Speaking about the Pro model it comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support, respectively. Both devices run on the Flyme 10 OS, a Meizu skin based on Android 13.

The Meizu 20 lineup has dual 5G, WiFi-7, Bluetooth, NFC. The best among these feature is support for stereo speakers. The regular model is available in Dingshengqing, Pioneer Grey, Joyful Yellow, and Love Powder colors, while the pro version comes in Dawn Grey, Dawn Silver, and Sunrise Gold hues.
The regular Meizu 20 starts at RMB 2,999 for the base 128GB storage option. Customers can also choose from the 256GB and 512GB variants, which are priced at RMB 3,399 and RMB 3,799 respectively. The Meizu 20 Pro offers the same storage configurations but at a higher price point. The 128GB storage option costs RMB 3,999, while the 256GB and 512GB options are priced at RMB 4,399 and RMB 4,799 respectively.
