Garki Hospital Abuja is owned by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). It was closed in 2001 for full renovation. In March 2007, a concession agreement for the management and operation of the new Garki Hospital Abuja was signed between FCTA and Nisa Premier Hospital, after a competitive bidding process. This is in line with the Federal Government’s Public Private Partnership (PPP) Policy. We have accreditation to train residents in Anaesthesia from both the West African College of Surgeons and the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria and also accreditation to train Diplomates from the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria.
Requirements
Candidates for this position must possess an MBBS/MD degree from recognized Universities and have passed primaries from either the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African College of Physicians/Surgeons (Department of Anaesthesia).
Candidates without primaries must be ready to seat and pass the examinations within six (6) months of resumption
Candidates must also have a current practicing license.
Excellent communication and display of good administrative and interpersonal skills will be an added advantage for this position.
