Responsibilities
Regular reviews of project status ensure all options have been considered and evaluated to improve construction performance
Ability to solve site problems through good engineering practice
Control of site environmental issues
Ensuring all project KPI`s and KPM`s are achieved
Uploading documents to company systems as and when necessary in line with business requirements
Developing accurate project programs for weekly updates
Ensuring compliance to procedures, specifications and International and National Engineering Standards
Identify and provide solutions to issues as they arise.
Weekly submission of information including weekly timesheets, material sheets and plant & site checklists
Collection of data for divisional coordinators including drawings of layout, sections and construction details
Participate in any peer reviews of M+E drawings, calculations and specifications.
Ability to coordinate and support power generation installation work.
Carry out site inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests for plant and equipment as required.
Ensure all punch lists are initiated and closed out prior to issue of M+E completion certificates.
Education and Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Professional certification required – e.g. COREN, NSE
Safety and ISO knowledge and certification
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in either an engineering consultancy or engineering construction environment.
