Manchester United target Mathys Tel has just given The Red Devils a huge boost in their pursuit of the star.
The 19-year-old recently decided that he no longer wants to play for Bayern Munich, wanting to secure a move away by deadline day next Monday.
As such, clubs, including Manchester United, began flocking to monitor the situation and try to sign the youngster.
Alongside United, Spurs, Aston Villa and Chelsea have all joined the race for the Frenchman, however, Tel has now rejected one club in particular.

Mathys Tel rejects move to Tottenham Hotspur
L’Equipe have now reported that despite Spurs having agreed a £50 million deal with Bayern Munich, Tel has now rejected the London-based side.
Adding to this, Florian Plettenberg has also commented that Tel is more in favour for a loan deal, which is what United are sounding out with Bayern.
United are keen to pursue a loan deal with the option of buying, as their limited funds right now are preventing the Red Devils from completing outright sales.
The ability to sign any incoming players heavily relied on United making sales this January, which unfortunately hasn’t materialised.
However, by going for Tel as a loan move, it buys United some more time to generate funds for a reserved purchase down the line.
