Unfortunately for Erik ten Hag, Mason Mount has joined the ever growing injury list at Manchester United.
After a number of injuries stacking up through the pre-season, Mount has now joined the list thanks to a knock he took in United’s Premier League match up with Brighton & Hove Albion.
He was substituted at half time, with new boy Joshua Zirkzee coming on in his place. The fans were shocked to see him leave the pitch after a strong showing in the first half. However, after the match, ten Hag addressed the media to confirm that the midfielder had in fact taken a knock.

It’s now been confirmed however that the injury ruling Mount out was to do with his hamstring although is being considered as “not serious”.
Unfortunately for the ex-Chelsea star, Mount will be ruled out for few weeks, with him having to miss the match up with Liverpool this weekend.
Now, taking to Instagram, Mount has voiced his feelings on the setback.
On his story, the 25-year-old posted a note, saying: “During the last game I picked up a minor muscle injury. I’ve had it checked and it looks like I’ll be out for few games.”
It continued: “Leading up o and during pre season I worked hard to get my fitness back to where it needs to be and I felt, reenergised, sharp and ready.
“I wanted you to ear it directly from me how frustrated I am, as I expect you are too. I will do everything possible to be back in the best shape and help the team.”
