With news coming in of Marseille’s bid for Mason Greenwood, the winger is looking even more likely to leave United soon.
This is the second offer that United have received for Greenwood following Lazio’s €20 million initial bid.
Whilst the details of Marseille’s offer are unknown, it’s expected to be a loan-to-buy deal with a built in sell on clause.
Reports from The Athletic claim that the 22-year-old was seen at Carrington this morning for a short meeting before leaving again.
It’s believed the meeting was held to support Greenwood’s move away from Manchester, with a focus on the deals that have been submitted, especially with the winger wanting a move to Marseille.
Whilst Greenwood is technically back as a United player, the fact he didn’t take part in the first session of pre-season training shows his future lies elsewhere.
