The Super Smash Bros. series is filled with characters and content that actually hail from a variety of other video game franchises. It’s honestly pretty amazing that so many gaming worlds are able to represented as accurately as they have been.
More than likely, we have Masahiro Sakurai to thank for this as he’s apparently quite the avid gamer himself. In a recent video upload on his YouTube channel, Sakurai decided to show off just how vast his video game collection is while providing tips on storage.
Considering the scope of Masahiro Sakurai’s collection, you could say that Sakurai has become an expert when it comes to storage. Sakurai himself describes proper storage as being “life-or-death matter” due to this.
From seeing the video, this is no exaggeration. According to Sakurai, he used to save the packaging for games, but this became infeasible after a while, resulting him coming up with a new way to save space.
It would seem that Sakurai has had to come up with a way to store cartridges, CDs, cables, consoles, controllers, televisions, and amiibo. All of this isn’t just limited to Nintendo products either.
From this, we can see that Sakurai is prepared to represent just about any character in the Super Smash Bros. series. He’s basically able to seek out any game from his library of games to do this.
