Mark Goldbridge has shared on X that despite Erik ten Hag’s general support in the dressing room, with significant support from the younger players, some players have come forward to raise their concerns to INEOS, which ultimately may have a huge impact on ten Hag’s future.
This latest update comes on the back of much speculation that ten Hag will be losing his job at the end of the season following a dismal eighth place in the Premier League, missing out on all European football next year. The only salvation to achieving any competition in Europe would be with a win on Saturday in the FA Cup Final against Manchester City, however Manchester United are going into this as the underdogs experiencing a 6-1 aggregate score in the Manchester Derbies this season.
With the concerns in the dressing room now adding to the recent performances on the pitch, ten Hag’s future is most certainly in the balance, adding even more pressure to the manager this weekend.
