Marcus Rashford has been left out of Manchester United’s squad for their upcoming Carabao Cup game against Tottenham Hotspur.
This news comes after huge amounts of speculation has been ongoing around the wingers’ future at the club.
Rashford was left out of the squad ahead of the Manchester Derby too, as United went on to emerge as 1-2 winners.
In an interview on Tuesday, Rashford expressed his desire to leave United, after reporting unwell for training on Monday.

The latest update in Rashford remaining dropped from the squad has come from journalist Samuel Luckhurst, on Manchester Evening News.
Alejandro Garnacho was another who was dropped from the squad completely ahead of United’s trip to the Etihad.
However, the Argentinian has since been brought back into the squad for Thursday’s away trip to face Tottenham Hotspur.
United players were given the day off on Tuesday by head coach Ruben Amorim.
The Englishman has struggled over recent years in producing consistent levels of quality.
It has become apparent that Rashford’s drop in standards and mentality over the past several years is a huge factor as to why the Englishman is no longer required at the club.
This has seen Rashford come under huge amounts of scrutiny and speculation on social media.
So much so, to the point where it has been deemed best for Rashford’s future to be elsewhere, potentially abroad in Saudi Arabia.
United are open to a cut-price deal for the forward, though his £365,000-a-week salary limits potential suitors to a handful of clubs.
It now seems like the close to a eight year tenure for Rashford at the club.
One that United fans will be hoping only benefits the team moving forward.
