After the dismal season for Manchester United and Erik ten Hag, the Dutchman knew that the FA Cup Final held a lot of weight to his future at Old Trafford.

Fellow Dutchman Marco van Basten has spoken out to Football365 that he believes Manchester United should give ten Hag more time to turn things around.
The former Netherlands international has commented that “despite few opportunities with the player, he was still able to win the FA Cup, which was very important.”
Van Basten went on to praise ten Hag’s ability to build a team and strengthen them, however believes that he has taken on “too much” with the job of technical director and that alot of his big money signings unfortunately have not performed well.
