Manchester United are experiencing yet another injury crisis, with top players like Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez all forced onto the side-lines.
Martinez has been ruled out until at least the end of the season with a torn ACL, whilst Mainoo and Diallo’s time in the treatment room forced Ruben Amorim’s hand with this week’s team selection.
As a result, Casemiro once more took to the pitch rather than being an unused substitute, whilst Amorim’s bench featured eight of United’s youngsters.
New signings Ayden Heaven, Sekou Kone and Chido Obi sat on the bench at the start of the game, with Harry Amass, Jack Fletcher, Tyler Fredricson, Elyh Harrison and Jack Moorhouse joining them.
However, Academy Scoop have now revealed that one of the eight are set for their debut this week.

Ayden Heaven to get his Manchester United debut
Taking to X, Academy Scoop revealed that Heaven is set to get his United debut as United’s Under-21 side take on Fulham in the Premier League 2 tonight.
The 18-year-old joined United during the winter transfer window, moving from Arsenal as another option for Amorim’s back three.
As a result, it’s likely that his involvement in the Premier League 2 match is to give the youngster match minutes preparing him to cover for Martinez over the coming months.
Amorim will be needing his squad to be at the top of their game as the season appears to be going from bad to worse, looking to integrate Ayden Heaven and other new signings into the squad as soon as possible.
With United in 15th place in the Premier League, making this their worst ever season, The Red Devils have a long, uphill battle to claim any success this season.
It’s looking more likely that United’s only chance for European football lies in winning the FA Cup for a second year in a row.
Last season United’s victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final was the only reason for their lot in the Europa League, with The Red Devils potentially reliant on this route to Europe once more.
Amorim’s men will be facing Fulham in the Fifth Round at the start of next month, hoping to book their slot in the Quarter-Finals.
