Manchester United are looking ahead to the next transfer window for reinforcements to add to Ruben Amorim’s side.
The squad are already finding their feet under their new manager, registering their second win against Everton this weekend.
The Red Devils came out on top with a 4-0 win thanks to braces from Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee.
The attackers are starting to show what they’re made of, with seven goals in two games. However, Amorim is still looking abroad to how his squad could be strengthened further.
Angel Gomes is one star who’s been linked to the club, having left United for LOSC Lille back in 2020. Now, with his contract coming to an end, The Red Devils could organise a homecoming for free
However, new reports are indicating another star is at the top of United’s list.

Manchester United target Kenan Yildiz
Florian Plettenberg has reported that Juventus’ Kenan Yildiz is one of the top names on United’s shortlist in their search for attacking midfielders.
Whilst Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford are fitting into the roles well, with Alejandro Garnacho as backup, Amorim is looking for more depth.
Yildiz has come through the Bayern Munich and Juventus academies, being promoted to the senior team in 2023.
Since then, the 19-year-old has made 51 appearances, with eight goals and four assists. Whilst Yildiz was a fringe player last season, the midfielder has broken into the starting XI this season, grabbing four goals and three assists in 19 games.
United are reportedly impressed by his development and are monitoring the star closely.
However, the report explains that Yildiz wants to stay in Turin. He’s reportedly comfortable at the club, with the fans adoring him already.
With his contract running until 2029, The Old Lady has no pressure to sell their star, meaning that a hefty bid would need to be submitted to convince the Seri A side to sell.
