With Ruben Amorim set to join Manchester United today, the set-up of the United squad could start changing.
We already are expecting a formation change, with Amroim favouring a dynamic 3-4-3 with the wings playing both wing-back and attack.
However, with United having just gone two weeks undefeated under Ruud van Nistelrooy, Amorim may be excited at who he already has at his disposal.
We know that the executive board, headed by Dan Ashworth, are leading any recruitment, with input from Amorim, rather than the manager leading it.

With that said, there is one talented youngster that United have been tracking for some time who could fit into Amorim’s system well.
Manchester United continue interest in Sverre Halseth Nypan
Despite the change in manager, United are reportedly still looking at Sverre Halseth Nypan of Rosenborg. The 17-year-old featured in United’s pre-season loss to the Norwegian side, with Nypan standing out as a star performer.
Before this and since United have sent scouts to Norway to track the midfielder being labelled as “the next Martin Odegaard”.
GiveMeSport has confirmed that The Red Devils believe that the midfielder would be a strong asset to Amorim’s playstyle.
United haven’t been able to make a move for the star yet due to Brexit laws preventing the move of any under 18-year-old from outside the UK. However, with Nypan turning 18 in December, come January he’ll be available for signing.
United will need to move quickly though, with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea circling around the midfielder.
However, it’s understood that Nypan is a fan of The Red Devils, giving them an edge in any transfer race which may ensue.
