Manchester United to sell SEVEN players as they plan to sign Bellingham

Manchester United are preparing for a crucial summer transfer window as the club looks to reshape its squad under new leadership.

With financial restrictions limiting their spending power, selling players has become a priority to generate funds for new arrivals.

Several senior stars have struggled to justify their wages or fit into the long-term vision, making them prime candidates for departure.

The club’s owners are also keen to cut down the wage bill while ensuring the squad remains competitive for the upcoming season.

Amid these changes, the search for fresh talent has intensified, with a particular focus on young, dynamic players who can thrive in the Premier League.

A large-scale clear-out is expected, with Manchester United looking to offload multiple players in a bid to raise funds.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Victor Lindelof, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Antony, Marcus Rashford, and Kobbie Mainoo could all be on their way out.

Casemiro, who has one year left on his contract and earns £350,000 a week, is among those deemed expendable.

Mainoo, despite being a key player, could be sold for around £70 million as his departure would count as pure profit due to his academy status.

Lindelof and Eriksen will be free agents in the summer, while Antony and Rashford are expected to depart following their respective loan spells.

In the midst of these planned exits, United have identified a potential replacement in Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham, as per The Standard.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been a standout performer in the Championship and is seen as a long-term solution for United’s midfield.

Jobe Bellingham’s club, Sunderland, are pushing for a Premier League promotion, which could impact negotiations.

If they fail to go up, Jobe Bellingham may be more open to a move, though competition is fierce, with Chelsea, Tottenham, and Brentford also interested in securing his signature.

Manchester United’s summer rebuild hinges on player sales, with Bellingham emerging as a key target in their squad overhaul.
