With the January transfer window, time is running out for Manchester United to negotiate new deals for those stars who are in the final year of their contracts.
For those who are set to come to an end in the summer, other clubs can begin negotiating a free transfer without going through the parent club when the winter transfer window opens.
For United, four of their main stars are out of contract in the summer, bringing the risk of losing them on a free.
These four are Christian Eriksen, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Amad Diallo.
Whilst there was already some uncertainty as to what would happen next for these for, the change of management will only be bringing more uncertainty.

With Ruben Amorim set to join next week, a new manager always has the risk of shaking up the squad, changing the club’s thoughts on renegotiations and a players use in the squad.
The future for United’s four stars at the end of heir contracts
Already we know that of the four, Amorim wants half of them sold as soon as possible.
Amorim reportedly doesn’t see Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof sold in January as part of his long-term plan. As such, he’s happy to see the pair leave in the summer, but would prefer to makes sales in January.
Maguire’s future is yet unknown, with the centre-back having joined for £80 million, however now appears to have fallen down the pecking order behind Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt, without considering Leny Yoro who is still injured.
However, for Amad Diallo, it looks as though he may be set to stay at United.
Amad Diallo set to stay at Manchester United
Graeme Bailey has reported that The Red Devils are working on getting a new contract for Amad. The club’s intention is to get the deal done and dusted by New Year.
United are reportedly confident that he will sign a new deal, securing his future at Old Trafford.
Amad hasn’t been used to his full extent this season, however he’s still showing promise. The winger has grabbed two goal contributions in 14 appearances, averaging at 44 minutes on the pitch per game.
However his real potential was shown in the pre-season tour delivering some impressive performances. The 22-year-old will no doubt be hoping he can get back to this form under Amorim.
